複製版画が問題の多い事をお話しましたが
では「オリジナル版画」であればいいかと言うと.....
そうでもない場合があります。
一時期（バブル景気前後）ヒロ・ヤマガタという作家の
シルクスクリーン版画が大変人気を呼んだ事がありました。
１枚１００万円以上にもなったようです。
私も実物を手に取ってみた事があります。
１００版・１００色以上を使って
作品自体がインクの重みでずっしりとしていました。
しかし 作品が発する「力」とか「存在感」というものが感じられず
紙の重みだけが印象に残っています。

I’m afraid to say it depends on a case.
Around bubble boom, silkscreen prints by Hiro Yamagata were so popular.
A sheet was sometimes as expensive as over one million yen.
I‘ve once picked up one and look at it.
It was used 100colors and 100 plates, so the print itself was very heavy due to
the total weight of ink.
However I couldn’t feel “energy” or “ presence” that should come from the work itself.
I’m just impressed by its weight.

赤い方は茎に傷がついて枯れてしまいましたが
青い方も葉もまだまだ元気です！もう二週間以上は経っています。
沖縄のビンだからいいのか？ 焼酎が入っていたからいいのか？
青いビン色がいいのか？
私が見つめているからか！....... 謎です....
Pink flowers have withered but blue ones and the leaves are still live,
although over two weeks have passed.
Due to the bottle from Okinawa or Previous Shochu-bottle or Blue color?
Or as I’m always staring at them?
I don’t know why…
