シルクスクリーン版画「花シリーズ」第４作Kobushi Magnolia

今年は何故か少ないと心配されていた蝉も　この暑さで盛り返して盛んに鳴いています。
何かにつけ放射能が頭をよぎる日々はいつまで続くのでしょうかね.....

さて　私のブログでは３月２１日より　少しでも心休まる様にと
花のスケッチをシリーズにして　掲載してきました。
その中から今回３点を選んでシルクスクリーン版画にしてみました。
以前掲載した花シリーズ　「虞美人草」「Calla」「百合」つづく第４作になる「こぶし」をご紹介します。

その前に　原画を
We’ve been concerned about fewer cicadas this summer for some reason.
But I’ve come to hear they sing as the summer heat regains.
I wish I got out of the habit of linking things to the effects of radiation.

I’ve posted sketches of 19 flowers hoping for soothing someone since March 21st.
I picked three flowers among them and put out silkscreen printings.



花のスケッチは１９作になりますが　その中からシルク版画として魅力のある絵になる花を選びました。


シルク版画にした「こぶし」です。
I chose them because they are good for silkscreen method.
This is Kobushi Magnolia


292×162mm　ED 70 ９色３２回刷り　赤貝箔使用
292x162mm Ed70 9colores 32 impressions Red shell silver leaf.
色数は少ないのですが　花の柔らかさ・生命感を出したくて
花びら１枚１枚を刷り重ねる方法をとったので　刷り工程が多くなりました。

また　堅い蕾から開花までを１枚の画面に描いて　
時間の推移　あるいは　自然の力強さが出せればとの想いで制作しました。
　
いかがでしょうか。


I didn’t use many colors, but to provide softness of this flower and a feeling of vitality,
I printed petal by petal.
So it took many a time to accomplish.

I wanted to express a stream of time and nature by depicting them from an early bud to bloom
in one picture.
