人は、誰にでも一日に２４時間が与えられています。
しかし、人によって結果が大きく異なるのは、時間の使い方が違うからです。

物事を考えるようになり、人生が短期で区切られた
期間の連続として積み上がっていく。
人生も、時間という定量的なものと考えれば
当たり前の話だが、まず自分がいくら残高を
持っているかが不明確。
だからこそ、特に若いうちは、使っても無くなる
という感覚が持ちづらい。
たとえば、残高が書いていない通帳がある。
トータル残高が分からないため、使っても
減る感覚はあっても、無くなるという
感覚は持ちづらい。
使用制限も特になく、いつでもどこでも
出し入れ可能、というような状況であれば、
消費の方に目が行き、どんどん使ってしまう
のが人間なのではないか。
上記のように、お金と考え方で似ている点も
あるが、決定的に違うのは、ある日突然
残高が残りわずかと気づいたときに、自主的に
残高を増やすことがまず出来ないため、
気付いた後での後悔は取り返しがつかない、
という点を肝に命じておかなければいけない。
