Voice of Earth Twilight

今回は今年の日本版画協会展に出品した
「Voice of Earth Twilight」を取り上げます。

この作品は正直に言いますと　
非常に不満足の状態で仕上がってしまいました。
原画の段階での作画の詰め方が足りなくて
最後まで迷って　テーマを絞りきれなかったのが原因と思います。

昨年から制作していた
「Voice of Earth Blue Sky」
「Voice of Earth Climson Sky」に続いて
空と大地（地球）に対する思いやりの気持ちを中心に
今年の作品も制作するつもりでした。

しかし画面手前に来月結婚する娘の小さい頃の
遊んでいるシーンを入れた事によって
制作する気持ちが二分されて
妙に中途半端な作品になってしまったようです。

版画の場合　すべての色を入れて刷り上げるまで
その完成度がなかなか掴めません。
しかし今では　原画の状態でかなりその仕上がりを読めるつもりでいたのですが.....

まだまだ未熟です......

Honestly, I’m not satisfied with this work.
In the designing stage, I didn’t elaborate it enough and failed to narrow down
the theme.
Last year, I made “Voice of Earth Blue Sky” and “Voice of Earth Crimson Sky”

Following them, I intended to make it out of regard for sky and earth.
However, as I added images of my little daughter, who is marrying next month,
to the foreground, my feeling was divided and it ended up unsatisfactory work.
In the print making, it is difficult to grasp the state of its completion
until all colors have been printed.
These days I assumed I could see finishing state, when designing…

I’m not skilled yet... alas!
