美術鑑賞って何？１ What is appreciation of fine arts ? 1

庭の梅が咲きました。
「梅一輪　一輪程の暖かさ」嵐雪

「いやぁー　私　絵の方はさっぱり解らなくて」と
よくおっしゃる方が多いようです。
しかし　そのような方も自分の好きな音楽や映画のお話には
結構一家言お持ちの人が多いのも確かです。

いつの頃からか絵だけ「解らないもの」になってしまったんでしょうね。

その辺のところを美術史的に　少々考えてみたいと思います。

私の個人的推理ですが（私だけでもないのですが.....）
絵画（主に欧米中心の）を解らなくさせたその主犯は
セザンヌ（1839-1906）とピカソ（1881-1973）でしょうね　やはり......
彼ら２人によって２０世紀から２１世紀へつづく美術の栄光と不幸が
もたらされたように思います。　　　　続く

Many people say, “ I don’t know how to appreciate pictures at all”
However, they sure have their own unique view on their favorite music or movies.
I wonder since when only the fine arts have become hard to understand.
I try to consider it a little historically.
In my inference (in fact, it’s not only mine though),
the ringleaders who made pictures, mainly Western ones, hard to appreciate
were Cezanne (1839-1906) and Picasso (1881-1973)
The two of them brought about glory and unhappiness of the fine arts
between the 20th and the 21st century.
