版画家の経済事情（10）Hanga Artist's economic conditions

自家製はがき　その７（木版画）Woodblock

ずっと手元に置いておきたいと思って
もらえるのは　残念ながら「お札」には
かないません......
版画をより多くの人達に持ってもらうには......
各部屋に掛けられているカレンダーのように
一家に少なくとも４～５点は飾ってもらえない
だろうか
掛け軸のように季節ごとに版画を架け替える
ような趣のある習慣として　
版画を利用してもらえないだろうか
色々想いはあります。
しかし...... 　やはり........
そのような事に考えを巡らせる時間があるなら
せっせと作品制作に励む事の方が　経済事情を
好転させる一番の方法のようです。

Something people want to keep on hand.....
In terms of this, I can't beat another Hanga
" paper money "
What should I do in order to get my works
kept by many people?
Like a calendar hung in each room....
perhaps 4 to 5 sets are needed for a house.
Or like a hanging scroll on the wall
in the good old Japanese alcove, how about
changing Hangas in accordance with four seasons
as an attractive custom ?
Various thoughts occur to my mind.
However, if I can afford time to think such a thing,
I should be devoted to producing.
That's what I can do to turn around the harsh
economic conditions.
