庭から空を見上げる 五月晴れ Clear weather in May
今年のGWは静かな休日となりました。
例年ですと恒例となったバーベキュウに２０人ほど集まって
賑やかで 楽しく 美味しい宴が開かれるのですが
娘の結婚式があったので 中止となりました。
We spent a quiet Golden Week, this year.
Usually, we throw the exciting annual barbeque party, but didn’t this time,
due to our daughter’s wedding.
人が入らないので増々ジャングル化する庭
The backyard is getting like jungle, since nobody came in.
一人で笛を吹き パイプを吹かし 枯れ葉を焚いて 相方は焼き芋(焼きニンジンも！）
を作るという 後期高齢者のような 実に静かな日を送りました。
これも結構オツなもんです。
Playing the flute alone, smoking a pipe, then gathering fallen leaves,
I burned them in a fire and my partner baked sweet potatoes in them.
We had really quiet days...like the old old...not bad....
