棟方志功は限定番号は入れずに 注文が
あればどんどん刷ったそうですが 本人は
「一所懸命刷って 題名とサインを丁寧に
たくさん書き入れるからいいのだ（番号を
入れなくとも）」と言っていたそうです。
それでも人気があって 値も下がらないのは
流石です。
絵としての魅力が大きいからでしょう。
このお話はその昔 棟方本人から直接版画を
手に入れた方からお聞きしたものです。
冒頭の棟方版画もその方からいただいた
ものです。この版画については次回に
お話します。
The late Munakata Shiko didn't put
an edition number on his prints.
He printed as many as he took orders.
He said " I put my heart and soul into
printing and writing my signature and
the title, so even without an edition number,
that's OK"
Even though there is no edition number on it,
his prints were so popular that the price
didn't fall ......Munakata the Great ........
Probably, his pictures themselves are fascinating,
His Hanga used today's blog is a real print.
Someone who bought it immediately from Munakata
told me this story and gave it to me.
