「Song of Earth -Urashima Tarou- 」

「浦島太郎」３部作を完成させた後も
まだ描き足りないような想い　
あるいはもっと　浦島の魅力を借りて　
その想像世界に遊んでみたいという強い想いに捕らわれて
大判の「Urashima Tarou」を制作してみました。
After finished the trilogy, I felt I hadn’t enough expressed Urashima’s enchantment yet.
I was caught up in desire to play more in the world of its imagination and made this large sized “Urashima Taro”

圧倒的で豊かな自然の中に囲まれた環境であったからこそ創造しえた物語
背景には現在よりももっともっと大きく感じられただろう地球の存在があったように思います。

そんな気持ちを「Song of Earth」というタイトルに込めました。

The environment surrounded with overwhelming and bountiful nature….
that’s what makes such a story possible.
And there must be the earth in the background、which　people felt too large , I believe.
So, I put the feeling in the title.

と言う事で　それでもまだ「浦島」は作り足りない気持ちはあるのですが...

今は新たな作品　御伽草子から　「一寸法師」に取りかかっています。
鬼が出て来たりして　これまたワクワク　どきどきしながら制作しています。
まだ原画段階ですが　いずれご紹介いたします。
In fact, I have not been satisfied yet…
But I’m working on another old tale “ The Inch-High Samurai”
Still designing, I’m excited at it.
What is waiting for you ? Yes, Demons!
