作詞・作曲者を調べてみた。
どちらもJohn GordonとJulie Frostの共作。John Gordonはデンマーク人のシンガー・ソングライター兼プロデューサーJulie Frostはシカゴ出身アメリカ人のシンガー・ソングライター。一部では作詞はJulie Frostだとも言われている。確かに歌詞は英語。二人のサイトを探してみた。

作詞はJulie作曲はJohn、二人の特性が優勝曲から窺がえる。
調べてみたが、日本で知名度のあるこちらのJulie Frostとは、どうやら別人のようだ。

Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest
Germany took part in the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 and has submitted and entry every year since, but was eliminated during the internal semi final in 1996. However, it remains the country with the most participations. The only victory to date came in 1982, but Germany also finished second four times and third five times. The last top ten placing to date was achieved in 2004.
