Former president Donald Trump falsely claimed that Kamala Harris only recently began identifying as Black, at an event in Chicago Wednesday. Trump spoke in a contentious appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists. Trump accused Rachel Scott of ABC News of giving him a “very rude introduction.” Kamala Harris attended Howard University, a prominent historically Black university, was a member of the historically Black sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, and was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus as a senator.
