篠笛のお話 その６Bamboo Flute 6

さてその後　数点の創作篠笛が完成しました。

After then, a few flutes were completed.


赤笛　花火　純金箔使用

節を抜いた篠竹に穴を開けるだけの篠笛は単純なだけに
調音はかなり難しいのですが　息子は厳密に作っているようです。
特に「唄用」篠笛はドレミ音階が
正確に出るようにしなければならないので結構大変なようです。

Making flutes is simple like this; all the more the articulation is difficult.
My son seems to tackle the tuning- up.

同　UP

伝統工芸の蒔絵に使われる「梨地」を
シルクスクリーンの転写技法で再現したものです。
この転写については　後ほどお話します。
I reproduced “Pear skin finish”, which is used in traditional lacquer ware,
by decal technique. I’ll talk about this “ decal” later.

笛の上部と下部に籐を巻いた物を天地巻きと言います。
笛の割れを防ぐためにほどこします。

ここまでくると　かなりプロ的な仕事になってきました。

そしてついにプロ奏者に使用されることになりました。

A flute of which head and tail are coiled with cane is called “Ten-Chi-maki”
It protects breakable Bamboo flutes.

Coming at this stage, it becomes like a professional work.
At last, a pro flutist has come to use one.
