花シリーズの３作目です。
「百合」290×200mm ED 70 １５色２３回刷り 中金箔使用

百合の絵に「百合」のタイトルは あまりにまんまですが
「LiLy」にすると わたし的には 映画男はつらいよの「リリーさん」のイメージに引っ張られそうで
あえてストレートなタイトルにしました。
背景とほとんどのパーツ（花びら・茎）に グラデーションをかけたので
刷りは相当手間のかかったものになりました。
この花シリーズすべてに言える事なのですが
刷りが複雑で 後日刷り増しをする時に悩みそうですが
しかし シルクスクリーン版画の魅力を充分出し得たのではないかと自負しています。
完成した花シリーズは今のところこの３点ですが
引き続き「水仙」・「チュウリップ」・「コスモス」の制作を予定しています。
その前にお伽草子2点の制作もあって 年初から創作意欲が旺盛で 我ながらわくわくしています。

It’s Tough Being a Man”
I used gradation printing for the background and most of the parts (petals, stems).
So, it took extra time and efforts to finish.
The process of printing is so complicated that I must be troubled with reprinting later.
But I could show enough the charm of silkscreen printing, I believe.
I’ll make Narcissus, Tulip and Cosmos continuously.
And I’ve already set about two folk tales.
Since the New Year has started, I’ve been full of drive and excited.
（余談ですが この百合の「鱗茎」ユリ根 は食用になるのですが
この調理法について相方とひと悶着ありました。 後日画像入りでお話します。）
Incidentally, some lilies’ cloves are edible.
We quarreled a little over how to cook them a couple of the days ago.
May be later about it.
