私にとって上野恩賜公園は都立美術館の版画展に毎年出品する関係で馴染み深い場所です。
ここは美術館・博物館・動物園だけではなく
意外と知られていない素敵な所が多い場所でもあります。
先日１９日恒例のテクテク隊集合の日でしたが
早く着き過ぎたので私一人で そんなあまり知られていない
上野公園を歩いてみました。
Ueno Park is a familiar place to me due to annual Hanga Exhibition
at Metropolitan Museum.
Besides some museums and the zoo, there are many attractive
but not so crowded places to visit.
On 19th, our teck-teck walking club got together at Ueno.
Arriving there too early, I strolled through the park by myself.
上野東照宮の参道です。（動物園と精養軒の間にあります）
両脇の灯籠は江戸時代のもの
The approach of Ueno Tosho-gu(shrine),located between the zoo and Seiyoken restaurant.
Lanterns on both sides are Edo era ‘s ones.
日光とは対照的にこじんまりとしています。
訪れていたのは皆さん中国の方でした。
Compared to Nikko’s shrine, it is compact.
Most of the visitors were Chinese people.
境内の絵馬
やはり外国の人が多いようです。

Many foreigners seem to visit here.
東照宮内にある牡丹園です。
Peony garden in the precincts
前日の雨風でちょっと萎れています。
Peonies are a little withering due to yesterday’s rain and wind.
なかなかいい風情ですね。

牡丹園内にあった俳句の掲示板です。
ここも外国の人の句が多いのに驚かされました。
Bulletin board for Haiku in the garden.
Surprised that a lot of Haikus are made by foreigners.
という訳で 上野公園は他にも魅力的な所が多いので
また折りをみて紹介します。
次回はテクテク隊４人で行った豆腐料理のお店のお話です。
