snap!
Å stone of a marble shot the young sparrow like a bullet.
(The stone shot it. Something was dropped.Hullo!)
(It dropped a strawberry)
Thanks to mischivous children the sparrow had dropped his deardear strawberry.
The child-sparrow became sad,and began to weep.
Squirrel:Why are you weeping,child-sparrow?
Child-sparrow:Mr,Squirrel.I dropped my dear strawberry and it was crushed,
that one drop of berry which my sick mother was to eat.
Squirrel:Is that so?Is your mother sick? I feel a pity for you
The strawberry...no, there may be no berry now.
But if you have a mind to seek, let you go to, though the place may be dangerous.
Child-sparrow: Yes I will go whatever place it may be.
Squirrel:The place is among the thorny bush some way off.
You must take care not to be pricked.
Child-sparrow: Among the thorny bush. Yes I will go.I will.
Wounded by the thorns of the brambles,no sooner the sparrow had got the strawberry
than he flew out of the bush. But as it was already dark he could not flew back home to his mother.
It was Uncle-Owl who saw the young sparrow in distress.
Owl. Well rideon my back,child.
Child-sparrow: Thank you,Uncle. Iwant to have mother eat this strawberry.
Plese, Take me home.
Owl: Yes,all right. It’s my pride that the darker it bacames the better I can see and fly.
The kind Uncle Owl flew straight to the bamboo bush.
Chirp, chirp, Chirp,chirp,
There was a rout like a festival in the house of sparrows.
Illness of there mother improved very much after she had taken the strawberry,
and she became spirited.
Mother sparrow; Thank you good children, Thanks to your kindness I have got better.
Child sparrow: We are verry glad, mother.
Child sparrow: Now let us sing a song altogether.
Chirp, chirp Chirp,chirp
Mother and children sparrows again sang joyously, opening their mouths very wide.
We are very glad their mother was restored to health.
