晩秋の荒川逍遥Rambling along Aarakawa riv. in late fall

更新は明日の予定でしたが
明日は朝からテクテク隊に出かけて
帰ってからは疲れ果てていると思いますので
今日更新しました。

今回テクテク隊は日本橋周辺を歩き回ります。
いずれ載せたいと思います。

で　こちらは晩秋の荒川逍遥と題して　いつもの私の散歩コースの画像です。

I planed to renew my blog tomorrow.
But I post it today, because I’m going to join the tenth Teck Teck Adventure, tomorrow.
I’ll be probably too exhausted to write the blog when I return.

This time, our Teck Teck Club is to walk around Nihonbashi area, in Tokyo.
I’ll talk about it in due time.

This is the riverside of Arakawa, which is my usual walking course.


ちょっと神々しい情景にしばらく見とれていました。
I took in this awe-inspiring scene for a while.

以前はこの季節になると　この辺りで「鴨撃ち」をやっていました。
今は危険すぎるのでやっていないようです。
In this season people used to enjoy ducking, I haven’t seen it these days though.


「今時の　鴉は食べぬ　からすうり」Snake gourds

泉福寺　今年のもみじの紅葉はいまいちでしたね。

The maple leaf　hasn't turned bright red as usual.

泉福寺脇門　なかなか素敵な風情です。
埼玉の荒川脇とは思えません。

こちらは逍遥とは関係ありませんが

ご近所から大量にいただいたので
相方が茹でて　泣き泣き実を掻き出して作った「ほんとの栗羊羹」
前回の八海山モンブランと違って　
見栄えは良く無いですがとても美味しかったです。
This is solid chestnut Yokan (Japanese sweets) made by my partner.
It’s not good looking, but the taste was very good compared with Sake-taste Mont Blanc.
