版画展（その２）Hanga Exhibition in Ueno(2)

上野公園３月２９日午後０時 Ueno Park, March 29th 12:00pm

３日間に渡る審査がようやく
終わりました。初日（２８日）の桜は
３分咲きでしたが　３０日はほぼ満開
華やかな外とはうらはらに都美術館の地下３階に
朝９時から夕方４時までびっちり３日間
閉じこもっていた訳です。
一般公募部門の８２５点の応募作を審査会員で
１点１点丁寧に見て　入落を決め　賞候補を
推薦し　総会で全会員の承認を得て決定します。
非常に丁寧な審査を繰り返すので
かなりしんどいものです。
（日本版画協会の版画展は会員・準会員の
作品と会員の審査を通過した一般公募作品を
展示します。その審査の模様のお話でした）




上野動物園前 in front of Ueno Zoo

This Hanga Show exposes the print works of the
members, the junior members and the screened works
from the public ones.
The screening over three days by the members
has just finished.
The first day, 30% of cherry blossoms came out
and on 30th, they were in full bloom.
As opposite to being gorgeous outside,
we were locked up in the third basement of
Metropolitan Art Museum, from 9:00am to
4:00pm, for three days and kept on carefully
looking at 825 entries one after another
in order to screen them and recommend candidates
for some prizes.
The result is subjected to the approval of
the general meeting of members.
It's really been a tough task.
