シルクスクリーン版画の「刷りによるグラデーション」表現は
縦方向か横方向のみ可能で 円形などの刷りはできません。
そこで円形のグラデーションを刷る場合は
いわゆる「網がけ」というフィルム加工が必要です。
この年の絵の左上の光の様な表現がそれです。
カメラ機材を操作してドット（点の集積）を小さくしたり
隙間を規則的に開けたりして ベタ状態から空白へフィルム上で「ぼかし」を作り
写真製版で版にします。
しかしこの表現ですといかにも「印刷」的になってしまうので
私の他の作品制作ではまず用いる事はありません。
As for gradation by silkscreen printing, we can print it only in a vertical or a horizontal
direction, not in a circle shape. To print it, we make various kinds of efforts in the frame making stage, especially by a photomechanical process.
But, as a result, it looks like “ printed matters”, so I don’t use it any more in my work.
申年 １０色 ２５００通し 赤貝箔・中金箔使用

この年が依頼を受けた最後の年なので
１０色・グラデーション２ヶ所・箔２種類という
凝ったものになりました。
この毎年の仕事は結構きつい作業でしたが
私なりの刷り技術や製版法をマスター出来た点で
有意義であったと思います。
この仕事をこなして得た技術は今でも作品制作に大きく反映されています。
As it was the last year of the order, with gradation in two parts using 10 colors and
two- kind of leafing, I elaborate them.
It was tough work every year, however I’ve learned a lot about printing and frame making.
Now I make the most use of the skills from this experience.
今冬２回目の白菜漬けの仕込みです。
Pickling Chinese cabbages for the second time in this season.
我が家のは、４株をそれぞれ４つに切って２・３日日に干して
総量の５％位の塩と少々の鷹の爪・昆布を混ぜてつけ込みます。
半月ちょっとで完成です。
ちなみに 沢庵漬けは１週間前に漬けたので
２月の中頃あたりから食べられると思います。今から楽しみです。
沢庵と白菜漬け関係は私が「主」相方は「助手」です！ えへん！
