現在、嘉美さんアダムと一緒にDnaメソットの英語の漫画版に取り掛かっています。嘉美さんは小さい時から漫画家になるのが夢だったそうで、四駒漫画が得意。
荒川修作さんの「死なない子供たちに」感銘を受け、Dnaメソットの発祥地である天命反転住宅を舞台に漫画で小冊子を作ることことに協力してくれることになりました。。
今日は第一回目のミーティングをしましたが、嘉美さんは感受性豊かな人でなので、私の言っていることを、すぐさま理解。
ブルックストリートのオーナーと一緒にランチタイムをしましたが、彼も嘉美さんには関心していました。「知的頭脳の持ち主で人の話も聞けるし、彼女は年齢が分からない、年取った人の落ち着きをしていて、安心して話が出来る人ですね。日本の女性に中々あれだけの人はいないので、倉富さんも良い人に恵まれて良かったデス。このアナーバーに世界から優秀な人物が集まれる場所を作りましょう！」といってくださいました。
Yoshimi and Adam are helping me put together an illustrated version of the English DNA method handbook. It seems like Yoshimi has had a dream since she was little to be a manga artist, and she has become very good at drawing those types of illustrations. I have been quite inspired by Shusaku Arakawa's upcoming movie "Children that won't die", and I am now working to use the Tenmei Hanten Living Area where I started to create the DNA method as the setting for the illustrations in the DNA method handbook.
Today we had our first meeting, and I found that Yoshimi is a very perceptive person, and was easily able to understand everything I was trying to get across.
We also had lunch with the landlord of my house on Brooks St., and he also was interested in Yoshimi. "She is a really intelligent person, and can listen well to others conversations. I don't know how old she is, but she has the calmness of a mature person, and can without hesitation talk very smoothly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Japanese girls who are like that, so I am happy that you were able to be around this sort of good person. We should help make Ann Arbor into a place where these sorts of outstanding people can meet!", he told me later that day.
