フィンランドでドキュメンタリー制作は凄い‼️ Documentary production in Finland is amazing!!

サンフランシスコの越川赳夫さんとお会いしました。

越川さんは、「江戸しぐさ」で有名な越川禮子先生の次男の
方で、私もサンフランシスコ在住の時には、大変お世話に
なりました。


サンフランシスコでのコンフレンスでShindo ワークショップ
の参加を呼びかけて頂いた時、茶道のデモンストレーションも
一緒にどうですかという事でした。


それが大当たり🎯Shindoは名前も知れていない当時でしたが、
お隣のブースはサンフランシスコでも有名な先生方でしたが、
Shindoワークの方に人が集まって来て、驚き‼️でした。

「フィンランドは幸せ感世界一とか教育システム世界一とか、国民性が
優秀なお国です。フィンランドの国営放送が倉富さんのドキュメンタリー

を作るという事はすごい事ですよ。と言われていました。」

私のドキュメンタリーに禮子先生のインタビュー記事を書いて
下さるということになりました。
禮子先生は現在99歳で今は広島のホームに入られています。


禮子先生とは私が福岡から東京へ上京して直ぐに、新宿の青木
先生からご紹介いただきました。
禮子先生は64歳、私は45歳というキャリアウーマンのピーク
を過ぎている年齢でした。


ところが禮子先生はまもなく「江戸しぐさ」で第一人者となられ、
80過ぎから表舞台で活躍されました。97歳まで活動されて
いました。
私は今80歳、まだまだ頑張れそうですかね(笑)


禮子先生は若い人たちに「江戸しぐさ」を伝えて行きたいと言われて
いましたので、縄文Shindoインストラクターの人たちも機会ある
ごとに、江戸しぐさの勉強に禮子先生の武蔵新城のご自宅に伺って
いました。


越川さんは映像関係の仕事をされているので、ドキュメンタリーの
映像の日本語版などのお手伝いなども得意、宜しくお願いします。


デニスバンクスやKITAROのDVDやドキュメンタリーもたくさん
作られていますので、何というか、このグッドタイミングの出会い
に驚きました。

I met Takeo Koshikawa from San Francisco.


Mr. Koshikawa is the second son of Reiko Koshikawa, who 

is famous for "Edo Shigusa." He was very kind to me when 

I lived in San Francisco.


When I was invited to participate in a Shindo workshop at 

a conference in San Francisco, he asked me if I would like 

to do a tea ceremony demonstration as well.


It was a big success! Shindo was not even a household name 

at the time, but the booth next to us was run by famous 

teachers in San Francisco, and I was surprised that so many 

people came to the Shindo workshop!


"Finland is a country with excellent national character, with 

the world's best sense of happiness and the world's best 

education system. It's amazing that Finland's national 

broadcasting is making a documentary about Kuratomi."


He said that he would write an interview with Reiko for my 

documentary.


Reiko is now 99 years old and is currently living in a nursing 

home in Hiroshima.


I was introduced to Reiko-sensei by Aoki-sensei in Shinjuku 

as soon as I moved to Tokyo from Fukuoka.


Reiko-sensei was 64 and I was 45, both past the peak of a career

 woman's life.


However, Reiko-sensei soon became a leading figure in "Edo Shigusa" 

and was active in the public eye from the age of 80. She was active 

until she was 99 ears old.


I'm now 80, so I think I can keep going (laughs).


Reiko-sensei said that she wanted to pass on "Edo Shigusa" 

to young people, so Jomon Shindo instructors would visit 

Reiko-sensei's Musashi-Shinjo home to study Edo Shigusa 

whenever they had the chance.


Mr. Koshigawa works in the film industry, so he is good at 

helping with things like Japanese versions of documentaries, 

so I look forward to working with him.


He has also made many DVDs and documentaries for Dennis 

Banks and KITARO, so I was surprised at how well-timed we 

met.

ドキュメンタリーの日本での撮影では、私のフィギュア

スケート⛸️を撮りたいという事ですので、靴箱からスケート

靴を取り出して、5年ぶりに履いてみました。

スケート靴に足がフィツトしたので、少し安心しました。

氷上に立っているだけでいいという事です。

スピンやジャンプなどは合成できるそうです。


どのような姿に撮れるのか楽しみですね。(笑)

子供教室で教えていました。

During the documentary shoot in Japan, they wanted to film 

my figure skating ⛸️, so I took my skates out of the shoebox 

and tried them on for the first time in five years.


I felt a little relieved when my feet fit the skates.


All I had to do was stand on the ice.


Apparently, spins and jumps can be combined.


I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. (laughs)


Finland is the birthplace of figure skating.


Shindo was conceived from figure skating, an analytical sport.


I guess my body had acquired the ability to analyze.


When I was analyzing Oriental medicine, I ended up 

with the rhythm of traditional Japanese culture, and the 

movements of tea ceremony and the 5, 7, 5 of haiku.


Shindo was the first to be introduced to Finland, and I 

feel like it was a divine intervention that a documentary 

film was made as a culmination of my work.

28年もShindoインストラクターをしていて、この度のドキュメンタリー

は、サトがオーガナイズしてくれました。

80歳になって元気な人はいるけど、海外まで仕事に行く

人ないないよ〜と。(笑)

体が元気で動ける間は、頑張りたいと思いますので、これからも

台風の影響もなく、快適な空の旅で無事鶴川の自宅に

帰り着きました。


昨夜は12時間ほど寝てしまいました

大雨の予報が出ていましたが、朝から晴れていて、

洗濯物が一気に乾いてくれて、助かりました。


ドキュメンタリー出演して頂く方の連絡したり、帰国の

ご挨拶などで、一日を過ごしています。

Sato, who organized the documentary production this summer, 

was the first Shindo instructor certified in Finland🇫🇮 when he 

was still a student at the University of Helsinki.


He has been a Shindo instructor for 28 years, and Sato 

organized this documentary.

I am grateful to Sato.

I returned to Japan from Finland🇫🇮 and Estonia🇪🇪.


Thank you for seeing me off at Tallinn Airport.


I was celebrated for my birthday in Tallinn and Pärnu.


The apples in Susanna's garden are turning red. 🍎


My daughter in Seattle told me to take it easy for a while.


There are people who are healthy at 80 years old, but 

there are no people who go overseas for work. (laughs)


It's all thanks to Shindo.


I will do my best as long as I am healthy and can move, so I hope

 you will continue to support me.


The typhoon was unaffected and I arrived safely home to Tsurukawa 

after a comfortable flight.


I slept about 12 hours last night.


Heavy rain was forecast, but it was sunny from the morning,


so the laundry dried quickly, which was a relief.


I've been spending the day contacting people who will be appearing in the documentary and saying goodbye to them on their return.

エストニア旧市街のロシア大使館に並べられた、ウクライナ
の子供達の血塗られたオムツが痛々しくて、胸が張り裂け
そうです。

戦争反対！絶対にこんな事許せない。

アレクセイ、ナワヌイ氏の遺影も痛々しくて、苦しくなります。

エストニア人とフィンランド人とこの夏一緒にShindoワークショップ
を楽しみましたが、お隣の国ウクライナでは、悲惨な日がまだ
続いています。

1日でも早く戦争が終結するのを、祈りながらエストニアから
帰国致しました。

The sight of bloody diapers of Ukrainian children lined up at 

the Russian Embassy in the Old Town of Estonia is heartbreaking.


No to war! We can never forgive this.


The portrait of Alexei Navany is also heartbreaking.


I enjoyed the Shindo workshop with Estonians and Finns this 

summer, but the tragic days are still continuing in our neighboring 

country, Ukraine.


I returned from Estonia praying for the war to end as soon as 

possible.

最後の日のワークショップには、通訳に日本🇯🇵大使館の女性
が来て下さいました。

日本に1年間留学していたそうで、日本語がとても上手でした。
ドキュメンタリー通訳もして頂き、ありがとうございました。


これで仕事が終わったあ〜と、思っていたら今日は、旧市街の
撮影が入り、朝から夕方まで撮影されました。

この5年でタリンのダウンタウンも様変わり、文明国並みに
街並みが整っていて、びっくりしました。

日本地図を広げてドキュメンタリースタッフと、ミーティング
しました。

企画書をきちんと作ってきていて、システム世界一のお国柄が
現れていました。

テレサは国営のTV局で働いていて、仕事が出来るディユレクター
ですね。
私からの質問にもテキパキ答えてくれました。

ドキュメンタリーはどのようにして売り出すのですか？とお聞き
しました。

TV局関係に売り込む事大事です。


お祭りの時に上映する。

DVD 作成などですね。
On the last day of the workshop, a woman from the Japanese Embassy came to act as an interpreter.


She had studied in Japan for a year, and her Japanese was very good.
Thank you for interpreting for the documentary.


I thought my work was done, but today we had to shoot in the old town, and we filmed from morning to evening.


Downtown Tallinn has changed a lot in the last five years, and I was surprised to see that the cityscape is as well-organized as in a civilized country.


I had a meeting with the documentary staff, with a map of Japan spread out.
They had prepared a proper proposal, and the national character of the country with the best system in the world was apparent.


Teresa works for a national TV station, and is a director who is good at her job.
She answered my questions promptly.


I asked her, "How do you sell a documentary?"


It's important to sell it to TV stations.


Screen it at a festival.


Create a DVD, etc.

エストニア、足首の骨折手当て法ワークショップ。

パルヌでのワークショップも全過程終了して、今日から

タリンでのワークショップを3日間行い、29日に日本へ

帰国致します。

5年ぶりに訪れたエストニア🇪🇪フィンランド🇫🇮でのワークは

とても楽しく、インストラクター達が負けずに頑張ってくれて

いた事が分かり、嬉しく思います。

ネールメソッドのクラス二日目に参加したインストラクターは、
去年骨折した左足首が五週間のギブスで治った後に、その後に
また左小指の骨折のギブスを付けて参加していました。

それでも座る事ができなくて、難儀そうでした。
そこで彼女をモデルにして、座れるようにする指導から始めました。


仰向けに寝て左の親指が右の親指より1センチくらい短かったので、
ネールメソッドで左親指に楊枝を当てると、一瞬で左右同じ長さに
揃いました。

参加者のインストラクターたちは、アッと驚きました。先が尖った
ものが何故効いたのか？の説明をしました。


実技では、足の骨折の後のケアーの仕方を指導しながら、実際に
クラスが終わる頃に彼女は、足首を曲げて座る事ができたし、
歩くことも普通にできるようになりました。

医者からは一生曲げることは出来ないだろうと、言われていたので、
感動していました。

骨折もネールメソッドで完治された人が日本でもいます。
半年に一度骨は生え変わっているので、効果的な方法で改善して
行く事が大事です。

The workshop in Pärnu has now finished, and from today,

 I will be doing a three-day workshop in Tallinn before returning 

to Japan on the 29th.


I had a lot of fun visiting Estonia🇪🇪 and Finland🇫🇮 for the first time

 in five years, and I was happy to see that the instructors were 

working just as hard.


The instructor who participated in the second day of the Nehru

Method class had been wearing a cast on her broken left ankle 

from last year, after which she had been in a five-week cast to heal.


Even so, she was unable to sit down and seemed to be having a 

hard time.
So, using her as a model, we started by teaching her how to sit 

down.


When lying on her back, her left thumb was about 1 cm shorter 

than her right thumb, so when she placed a toothpick on her left 

thumb using the Nehru Method, the two thumbs instantly became 

the same length.


The participating instructors were amazed. We explained why a 

sharp point worked.


In the practical session, we taught her how to care for a broken 

leg, and by the end of the class, she was able to sit with her ankle 

bent and walk normally.


She was so moved because the doctor had told her she would 

never be able to bend her leg again.


There are people in Japan who have completely healed their 

broken bones with the Nail Method.


Bones grow back every six months, so it's important to use 

effective methods to improve your condition.

フィンランド、エストニアで何故？ドキュメンタリー制作Why Finland and Estonia? Documentary production

フィンランド人🇫🇮の縄文Shindoドキュメンタリーの制作に
掛かっていますが、これがそう簡単に出来るものではない
事が分かりました。

はじめにラウリーに聞いたところによると、4、5年くらい
先になるという。
私が生きているかどうか？(笑)
ラウリーは倉富の話をAIにかけてやってみたい、なんて言
っておりました。

サトからドキュメンタリーのディレクター達と倉富が話して
気が合えば、作るという事でしたが。

ところがラフティでワークショップが始まり出すと、
とんとん拍子に事が運び出しました。
すぐに取材とカメラ撮影に行き着きました。


ラフティのスザンナの家で彼らとお会いしてから第一印象で
お互い頑張りましょうという事になっていました(笑)

カメラマンは重たい器具を持参し撮影する別棟の部屋に容易
万端、私もいつになく緊張することもなく、インタビューに
応えられました。

ラフティの森と湖に囲まれた自然の中でも撮影致しました。
カメラマンが褒めてくれるので、私も調子に乗って頑張った
次第です。


カメラマンの奥さんはタイ人の女性ということで、日本人に
違和感なく接しられたんでしょうね。

帰りのタリン行きの船にまで乗り込んで撮影致しました。
運良く海上のデッキでは、カモメが私の前の上空を横切り、
バッチリ👍ツーショツトになり、カメラマンも満足気でした。


日本へ来年の5月下旬に二週間滞在して、撮影予定です。
そのあと12月にエリットが始まり、コンピュータ仕事や、
音楽、編集が始まります。

早くとも2年後？くらいに出来上がれば上々ですね。
「縄文にハマる人々」ドキュメンタリーの山岡監督も言い
出してから5年掛かっています。


山岡監督は、全財産注ぎ込んでいられたようでした。
家族旅行を楽しみながら縄文の各地を回られていました。


それでドキュメンタリーが出来上がってからはとんとん拍子で、
今は縄文大使として各地でお呼びがかかっていますネ。


縄文Shindoドキュメンタリーは英語版EU全体と日本語にも訳さ
れる予定です。
ゲーム脳、ドラック中毒などの20代30代がターゲットです。

これからドキュメンタリーの制作で忙しくなりそうですね。

I'm working on making a documentary on the Jomon Shindo of 

Finland, but I've learned that it's not going to be that easy.


When I asked Lauri at first, he said it would be about 4 or 5 years 

from now.


I wonder if I'll even be alive? (laughs)


Lauri said that he wanted to try using AI to tell Kuratomi's story.


Sato told me that if Kuratomi and the documentary directors 

talked and got along, they would make it.


However, once the workshop started in Lahti, things started 

moving smoothly.


We soon got to the point where we were doing interviews 

and filming.


After meeting them at Susanna's house in Lahti, our first impression 

was that we would both do our best (laughs).


The cameraman brought his heavy equipment and was easily 

able to go to a separate room for filming, and I was able to answer 

the interviews without any nervousness.


We filmed in the natural surroundings of Lahti's forests and lakes. 

The cameraman praised me, so I got carried away and did my best.


The cameraman's wife is a Thai woman, so I guess she was treated 

well by Japanese people.


I even boarded the ship to Tallinn on the way back to take pictures.


Luckily, a seagull flew over me on the deck above the sea, and we 

got a perfect two-shot, and the cameraman was very satisfied.


I plan to stay in Japan for two weeks in late May next year and 

shoot there.
After that, the elite will start in December, and computer work, 

music, and editing will start.


It would be great if it's finished in about two years at the earliest.
It's been five years since director Yamaoka, who made the 

documentary "People Obsessed with Jomon," said he would do it.


Director Yamaoka seemed to have poured all his money into it.
He enjoyed a family trip to various parts of Jomon.


After the documentary was completed, things went smoothly, 

and now I'm being invited all over the country as a Jomon ambassador.


The Jomon Shindo documentary will be translated into English for 

the whole EU and into Japanese.


It targets people in their 20s and 30s who are addicted to video 

games and drugs.


They're also going to make a video about figure skating.


It looks like I'm going to be busy making documentaries from now on.


I hope that if it starts out well, it will continue to be good.

縄文発エストニアのShindoベイビーが通訳Shindo Baby from Jomon, Estonia, is the translator.

パルヌのワークショップの通訳は、なんと〜、ヘリーの娘の
Shindo ベイビーのアデルが担当してくれました。

iPhone の通訳を頼りにしていましたが、お見事でした。
かなり難しい表現も的確に伝わっていましたよ。
通訳とともにボディーワークの方も学んでいた才能に驚どろき
でした。


お母さんから小さい時からShindoやって貰っていたので、体が
覚えているんですね。
足の指の使い方がハマっていました。

ありがとうShindoベイビー👶日本へも是非きてくださいね。

5年ぶりに訪れたエストニア、フィンランドです。
インストラクター達もみんな年取ってきました、私もですが(笑)

そこで出会うのはお孫さん達も多く、面白いことにみんな小さな
手で、Shindoをやっているではないですか。


この度の訪問で時間が経つのは早いなあという。
それでも皆んなインストラクター達は、国の決まりでリタイヤー
した後も、Shindoを続けていました。


リタイヤー後に第二の人生を謳歌して貰いたいですね。


若い時からずっと税金を支払ってきているので、エストニアも🇪🇪
フィンランド🇫🇮も年金が確立されていて、良いですね。


税金の申告の仕方など小学生の時から教育の一環とされています。
フィンランドなんか聞いたところによると、来月からは45%になると
いう事でした。

The translator for the workshop in Pärnu was none other than 

Heli daughter, Adele, a Shindo baby.


I relied on the iPhone translation, but she was amazing.
She was able to accurately convey even the most difficult expressions.
I was amazed at her talent, as she had learned bodywork as well 

as interpreting.


Her mother had been doing Shindo since she was little, so her body remembered.
She was hooked on using her toes.


Thank you Shindo baby 👶 Please come to Japan too.


It's been five years since I last visited Estonia and Finland.
The instructors are all getting older, as am I (lol)


I met many of their grandchildren there, and what's interesting 

is that they are all doing Shindo with their small hands.


I realized how quickly time flies during this visit.


Even so, all the instructors continued to do Shindo even after 

they retired due to national regulations.


I hope they can enjoy the second half of their lives after retirement.


I've been paying taxes since I was young, so it's good that 

Estonia🇪🇪 and Finland🇫🇮 both have well-established pension 

systems.


How to declare taxes is part of education from elementary school 

onwards.
I heard that in Finland, the tax rate will be 45% from next month.

ウクライナの友人の夫と息子帰らない。My friend's husband and son in Ukraine haven't come home yet (tears)

フィンランド🇫🇮人とエストニア人にウクライナ戦争に
ついて聞いてみました。

日常生活においては、淡々と戦争を受け入れているかのように
思えたので、ウクライナの話をするのに、躊躇しておりましたが。


ワークが進むにつれてボツボツ話し出してくれました。


フィンランド人、エストニア人いろんな想いがある。
フィンランドにウクライナから逃げて来た友達がいますが、
みんなから離れたから淋しいです。


ビジネスやっていて、お客さんいるけど離れてしまい、頑張ってやって
いるけど難しいですね。


ロシアからも逃げて来て難民になっているけど、戦争の為経済も
落ちています。
全てダメになっています。


戦争でどちらが勝つとかではなく、人間が負けています。
女性が可哀想ですね。ご主人が無くなり、息子が亡くなりとても
可哀想です。(涙😢)


戦争悪いがいつか平和が来て、後から役立つ事を願っています。


ロシアから逃げた男性は、どんな生活をしているのか？
ニュースでも分かりません。
沢山のロシア人は、戦争と関係ないけど。


プーチン大統領が悪い、また国民プロタガンダ信じている。
教育が高い人も信じています
フィンランド人のお母さんはロシアにいますが、プーチンの
言葉だけ信じています。


トランプが大統領になったらどうなるか？危機意識。
フィンランド、エストニアにはNATOの軍隊が入っています。


中国も危ない、インドを盗ろうとしています。今中国人は2年間
インドに入れません。中国人は小さい国いらない、ロシアになった
ら良いと言っています。(驚き‼️)

I asked Finnish🇫🇮 and Estonian people about the Ukrainian war.


In their daily lives, they seemed to accept the war calmly, so I 

was hesitant to talk about Ukraine.


But as the work progressed, they started to talk bit by bit.


Finnish and Estonian people have various thoughts.


I have a friend who fled Ukraine to Finland,


but I'm lonely because I'm away from everyone.


I'm doing business, and I have customers, but they've left me, 

so I'm trying my best, but it's difficult.


I also fled from Russia and became a refugee, but the economy 

is falling because of the war.


Everything is ruined.


It's not about who wins the war, but the people are losing.


I feel sorry for the women. I feel so sorry for them, because their 

husbands and sons are gone. (Tears😢)


War is bad, but I hope that peace will come someday and that 

it will be useful later.


What kind of life are the men who fled Russia living?


I don't know even from the news.


Many Russians have nothing to do with the war, though.


Putin is bad, and the people believe in protaglandin.


Even well-educated people believe it.


My Finnish mother lives in Russia, but she only believes Putin's 

words.


What will happen if Trump becomes president? A sense of crisis.


NATO troops are in Finland and Estonia.


China is also dangerous, and they are trying to steal India. 

Right now, Chinese people cannot enter India for two years. 

The Chinese say they don't want a small country, and would be happy if it became Russia. (Shocking!)

エストニア🇪🇪でのワークショップも今日から後半に入ります。
今日のクラスは、倉富メソッドの宇宙遊泳インストラクタークラス。

ステムセルとミトコンドリアの話しを、聞きたいという事でした。
宇宙遊泳は10年前に発案していますが、ノーベル賞受賞者の山中先生と

大隈先生達と同じ頃に、出来ました。

シカゴのがん専門医のDrブロックから倉富メソッドについて賞賛さ
れたメッセージを頂いていますが、その中には細胞のことが書かれて
います。

前にもDrブロックからのメッセージとして、ブログで紹介しています。
ヘリーが英文をコピーしていましたので、受講生にお渡し致します。

後ネールメソット、蹲踞ストレッチ、のクラスと最終日には、Shindo
アシスタントインストラクタークラスがあります。

認定証を渡す日に、ドキュメント制作の撮影が入ります。

エストニア、フィンランドShindo普及に費やした時間が、アットいう
間に過ぎて行きました。
ドキュメント映画で締めくくられたら、私としても最高ですね。

The second half of the workshop in Estonia🇪🇪 will begin today.


Today's class is a spacewalk instructor class for the Kuratomi

 Method.


They wanted to hear about stem cells and mitochondria.


Spacewalking was invented 10 years ago, around the same time 

as Nobel Prize winners Dr. Yamanaka and Dr. Okuma.


We received a message from Dr. Block, a cancer specialist in 

Chicago, praising the Kuratomi Method, which includes a section 

on cells.


I've previously introduced this message from Dr. Block on my blog.


Helly has copied the English text, so I will give it to the students.


Afterwards, there will be classes on the Nehru Method and squatting 

stretch, and on the final day, there will be a Shindo assistant instructor 

class.


On the day that the certificates are handed out, filming will be done 

for the documentary.


The time spent promoting Shindo in Estonia and Finland has flown 

by in the blink of an eye.
For me, it would be great to end it with a documentary film.
