NHKで放映されました。
先日のＮＨＫの取材の件ですが、「縄文にハマる人々」映画館での
縄文女子のデモンストレーション・縄文タイムの放映が決まったそうです。
番組の都合上、変更する可能性はございますとのことです。

小林達夫先生、佐藤卓さんの縄文、ジョウモン、JOMON.
国立博物館トークショーへ行って来ました。
内容も深く面白かったのでブログでご紹介します。
はじめに「縄文にハマる人々」の予告編が放映され、山岡監督の
ご挨拶がありました。
専門家でない山岡さんの縄文入り口はユーモアがあり、初めての
人たちにハードルの高さを取り除きました。
小林達夫先生は、
開口一番にこれだけの人がいらして下さり、“なるほど〜”(笑)
デザインの先端を行っている佐藤さんは、1、500年前と対極
にあります。現代の先端を行っている人です。
佐藤さんは、
「デザインをしないデザインする。“おいしい牛乳”
デザインやって37年です。現代社会は目の前のもの全部
デザインで生活成り立っています。
その生活を支える仕事をやって来ました。
ある日小林先生の言葉にショツキングな言葉があって、本読み
ましたら一発で分かりました。目からウロコでした。
デザインは、モダンデザインが近代の歴史から100年、元が
始まって今があります。
ところが縄文は1万年以上続いた、たった100年のモダンデザイン
をくつがえしてくれるキィワードがありました。
ショツクでした。小林先生になんのツテも無いのに、押しかけ
ました。
何処に行けば会えるのか？
週に一回夕方いらっしゃるという時間を見つけました。
“ピンポーン“ドアの🚪インターホーン。
小林先生のお話聞きに行き、今私は62才、52才過ぎの自分を
動かしてくれる方は、そうはいない。
小林先生はお酒飲んでいらして、僕の話よく聞いて貰えなかった。
ご挨拶だけで、半端ないと(笑)
国立科学館デザインしました。
国立博物館で古い骨見に行きました。江戸時代、鎌倉時代、、、
と縄文人の骨見たとき、感動でした。
絶句しました！
デザインは間でつなぐもの。
体をデザインして、仕事で人をつなげないかと、人の役に立てない
かと思いました。
縄文人の骨の写真を芸術的に撮り展覧会しました。
穴が空いた頭蓋骨💀と歯撮りました。硬いもの食べていたようで、
歯はすり減っていました。
お金が発生するとおかしくなる世の中で、お金出してでもやりたい。
縄文人展やりたかった！。
一人一人の縄文人の奥深さなども含めて全部やりました。
小林先生
週一回のサロンに飛び込んで来たのが、佐藤さん。
私も縄文に関わったのは幸せでした。
佐藤さんとの出会いは、待ってました、という出会いでした。
突然会いたいと言われました、銀座のオフィスに行きました。
飲み食いもしませんでしたが、”ものにしろって“言われました。(笑)
縄文をユートピアとはじめに宣伝した人がいたので、そういう思いに
なってしまったが、縄文人も喧嘩しました。
鹿の骨使って🦌鈍い先端で殺めました。骨盤を後ろから突き刺した。
矢じりが腕に突き刺さると引き抜こうとしても、筋肉が吸い込んで
しまうので、抜けにくいなど残酷ですね。
佐藤卓さん
デザインは可愛いとかお洒落とかイメージ持っていますが、「おいしい
牛乳」は、酪農して子供作る状態にして、ミルク出す。
中身の牛乳と、多くの人をつなぐ、しぼりたてで中身をパツクに見る、
外側で味を伝える。
何となく売れそうとか 中味を表す時どういう形にするといいかとか。
縄文の火焔土器を作るときに、何か伝えるべき何かがあって作ったのか？
どうやったらデザインが売れるか？
それを使う人と送る人をやるのがデザインです。
縄文土器は器です。機能も持って用を足してくれる、デザインもあります。
気になったのは4つの突起です。突起は無用、邪魔者をあえて付けるのが
縄文、スッキリしたものなど、無駄なものない。
牛乳は多くの人に買って貰わなければならない、小林先生の話に”目から
ウロコ“縄文の器の話に。
持ちやすく、入れやすく、使い勝手が良いと考えるのが、モダンデザイン
の考え方です。
でも縄文は長い期間逆を行った。今と1,000年の長さとの違い。
世界に先駆けてた縄文。

これまでの伝統的な発明は大したことない。
突然別物作るのが発明ですね。
ニュヨークの電話帳一回で全部覚える人がいます。
古事記もそうですがとんでもないことできる人います。
縄文土器の始まりは、活気のあるところから生まれた。
邪魔もの作る縄文人。
ところで最近縄文女子が増えて嬉しいことですね。
火焔土器の話ですが、縄文人だけが突起つくりました。同じ時代
にあっても韓国は突起ありません。
みんな平、縄文とは異質な入れ物作りました。
縄文人は心を付けました。弥生も同じ突起つけません。
そういう所から縄文は消えましたが、見え隠れしながら伝わって
来ました。
日本文化ユニークなのは、実は縄文文化から来ています。文化的遺伝子で
来ています。
我が国の詩は、うぐいすやカエルから詠みます。
縄文一万年人と自然がの葛藤があります。
6、500国の言語ありますが、日本語の右に出る言葉はありません。
自然との共感共鳴ですね。共存共栄じゃない。
火焔土器は新潟には何処にでもあります。突起の穴はハート形してます。
約束絶対守るという思いです。全部決まりがあります。
あるルールがあって中から微妙に工夫していました。
クリエーションの工夫があります。
5、7、5のリズムです。
器離れしています。
縄文は立体的三次元ですね。三次元に逆形の中で世界に率先しました。
浮世絵はようやく人類が獲得した造形ですね。
縄文土器、これに近いもの一から作り出すことできません。
模写はできますが。
僕のことは研究仲間からは評価されませんでしたが、松岡正剛が僕を
見つけてくれました。
東京オリンピックは100年のモダンデザインで聖火台作るのではなく、
1万年前のデザイン超えた力強いメッセージ込められるのではないで
しょうか。

visited a talk show “縄文 ジョウモン jomon” of Tatsuo KOBAYASHI and Taku SATO.
The contents were deep and interesting, so I introduce on my blog.
At first, a trailer of “People addicted to Jomon”, and the director Yamaoka gave an address.
Because Mr. Yamaoka is not an expert, so his humorous introduction of Jomon cleared a high bar for beginner.
Mr. Kobayashi started off saying “I see” about a great turnout.
“Mr. Sato, leading the area of design, is at the opposite side from 1500 years ago. Hi is a leader of modern age.”
Mr. Sato said, “My design is not designed like “delicious milk”. It’s been 37 years since I started designing. In modern societies, everything in our lives are consisted of design.
My job can support our lives.
The other day, I met shocking words by Mr. Kobayashi. I understood in a moment after reading his book. It was eye-opening experience for me.
The modern designs at this time started about 100 years ago.
However, Jomon-era has continued more than 10 thousand years. There were keywords that can turn upside down.
I was so shocked that I visited him despite of no connection with him.
I didn’t even know where to see him.
Once a week at evening, he was at home.
I pushed the buzzer.
Only few persons can motivate me after 52-year-old.
Mr. Kobayashi was taking alcohol and did not listen to my story so much.
He said my greeting is already awesome.
I designed National Museum of Nature and Science.
I saw old bones there; those of Edo-era, Kamakura-era, and Jomon-era!
It was amazing. I was at a loss for words!
Designs are connected with intervals.
I thought about designing bodies, connecting and helping people by my job.
I took artistic pictures of bones of Jomon people, and then opened an exhibition.
I took pictures of skull with a hole and teeth. The teeth were worn down so Jomon people seemed to eat hard foods.
In this society, money often change things wrong. Even though, I wanted to realize the exhibition of Jomon people!
I did all things such as deepness of individuals.

Mr. Sato popped into our weekly salon.
I’m happy to be involved in Jomon.
I have been waiting for meeting with a person like Mr. Sato.
I was invited to his office at Ginza all of a sudden.
We did not eat or drink anything, and he said to me “make a success.”
Someone advertised Jomon as utopia at first, so people have such images. But, Jomon people also make a quarrel.
Using a bone of deer, they killed other with its dull point. They pierce it to pelvis from behind.
If people get an arrow to their arms, it would be difficult to remove because of muscles. Like this, they were sometimes cruel.

People often describe the design as cute or stylish. However, as “delicious milk”, we provide milk from cows that can have calves.
We connect many people with milk with packages associated with fresh milk. we tell taste by the package.
It seems to make a big sale without reason, or how it should be shaped to express its contents.
When Jomon people made fire-shaped-pots, did they have something to express?
How can I sell this design?
Being user and sender, it’s a design.
Jomon clay pots are containers. They have functions, can get things done, and have a design.
What I was noticed was four outshoots. The outshoots are needless. But Jomon people dare to attach those disturbances.
Milk must be bought by various people. I learned so much from what Mr. Kobayashi told about Jomon clay pots.
In the way of thinking of modern design, something easy to hold, easy to put things, and functional are the best.
But, Jomon does the opposite for a long time. It’s the difference between now and 1000 years.
Jomon had taken the point in the world.

The traditional inventions before now are not a big thing.
The real inventions are making something different all of a sudden.
A person can memorize the whole phonebook of New York City.
As written in Kojiki (A Record of Ancient Matters), there are persons who can do incredible things.
Jomon clay pots start at vibrant places.
Jomon people attached disturbances.
By the way, I’m so glad that Jomon-joshi is increasing these days.
Concerning fire-shaped-pots, only Jomon people had made outshoots. Korean pots of the same era don’t have those.
They all are flat. The pots they made are different from those of Jomon.
Jomon people attached heart. Clay pots of Yayoi Era don’t have outshoots, either.
The spirit of Jomon seems to disappear, but it was told in and out of a shadow.
What makes Japanese culture unique is Jomon culture.
It comes from cultural genes.
Poetries of our country starts from Japanese bush warblers or frogs.
We have conflicts between humans and nature for 10 thousand years since the Jomon Era.
There are 6,500 languages in the world, but the Japanese are the best.
It’s harmony and resonance with nature, not mutual-beneficial.
In Niigata, there are fire-shaped-pots everywhere. The hole of outshoots shape like a heart.
It means keeping faith at any cost. All made with rules.
Within the rules, they were trying various measures
They are creative.
It comes from the rhythm of five-seven-five.
They are beyond containers.
Jomon is three-dimensional spatial. So, Jomon took the initiative.
Ukiyoe is the design which humans acquired with effort.
We cannot create something like Jomon clay pots from the beginning.
We can only copy them.
My colleagues did not recognize my work, but Seigo Matsuoka has found out me.
At Tokyo Olympic Games, we should not make the Olympic cauldron with the modern design of only 100 years but put strong messages with the design of more than 10 thousand years ago.
