オサンポ walk - 電木 a electric tree

師走也
電気の灯る
木になりけり

In the last month of year
We, trees have turned
To the trees light themselves

巷に「電木」が増えてきましたね。暗くなるのが早くなってきたので、灯りがあるとちょっとでも賑やかな雰囲気がかもしだされていい感じ…と思いますが、「電木」になった当事者はどんなことを考えているんでしょうね。「いいんじゃん」と思っているのか…。

There are increasing many lighting trees in the towns, everywhere. It's getting dark soon nowadays, their brightness must be good to us. I'm just wondering what they think about that. Hope they are happy with that.
