玉すだれの滝 Tamasudare Fallｓ

竜頭泉に辿り着くまでにいくつかの滝を見ることができます。
その中の一つがこの「玉すだれの滝」。
滝の名前って、その流れる様子を表現したものが多いようです。

午前中に雨がたくさん降ってくれたお陰で水の量が増え、
いつもより一層美しい姿を見せてくれました。

滝を見に行くときは、雨が降った後が一番！

真夏に滝を見に行くと、すっかり涸れてしまっていることがあるのです…

We can find some waterfalls on the way to Ryutosen Falls.
This "Tamasudare Falls" is one of them.
Japanese tend to name waterfalls depend on how they flow.

It was more beautiful than usual because of a heavy rain in the morning.
If you want to see such a beautiful waterfall, you should go after a rainfall.
Some waterfalls dry up in the middle of summer!

紅葉 The Colored Leaves

竜頭泉のみごとな紅葉。
長崎でもこんなに見事な紅葉を見ることができるのです。
夏もいいけど、秋の竜頭泉もかなりオススメです。

イチョウとカエデの木が立ち並ぶこの一帯はまるで別世界。
この近くにあるお蕎麦屋さんがこれまたステキ。
私たちは引き込まれるようにそのお蕎麦屋さんへ入ったのでした


This is the colored leaves in Ryutosen area.
We can see such a beautiful scene even in the edge of Kyushu, Nagasaki.
I recommend the autumn leaves as well as the waterfall in summer.

There are a lot of maple trees and ginkgo trees.
I felt as if I were standing in another world.
There also is a lovely Soba restaurant near here.
We entered the restaurant as if we were absorbed into it.

山を歩くといつもステキなモノにたくさん出逢います。

昨日友人と愛車のマーチ号で東彼杵の竜頭泉に行ってきました。
竜頭泉の紅葉は今が見ごろ。赤・黄・橙色が織りなすステキな秋の風景。
私たちはその美しさに息をのみました。

日本には四季がある。これって本当にステキなこと。
日本に生まれてよかった。
四季の移ろいを目の当たりにするとき、つくづくそう思います。

I set up this weblog because I am attracted by nature and
I'd like to show you some lovely things which nature produces.

Nature is beautiful.
We can find a lot of beautiful things when we walk around in a hill.
And they change their appearance in all seasons and delight our eyes.

I went to Ryutosen area in Higashisonogi with my friend yesterday.
The colored leaves of Ryutosen is at their best now.
It took our breath away.

Japan has the four seasons. What a wonderful thing!
I'm happy to be born in Japan.
When I feel the change of the seasons I do think so.
