２０１６年１０月８日（Sat.） 秋晴れの・・・と書きたいところですが、あいにくの天気です、今日は。 ところで、５日間ほど前に収穫したばかりのサツマイモを食してみました、待ちきれずに。 小ぶりの安納イモは、見かけによらず｢旨い・甘い｣。 また、形のよいムラサキイモは、その名の通り、中まで深いパープルで、味は熟成不足の感ですが、それなりにサツマイモらしさの甘さがあります。 ベニアズマと金時は、もうしばらく熟成させてからと考えています。

Berlin’s Festival of Lights starts on Friday, October 7. For ten days, internationally-recognized artists will light up the German capital’s most famous landmarks. It’s the 12th time the festival has been held.

One of this year’s top attractions will be the lighting for the TV tower on Alexanderplatz. Plus, artists will create video mapping displays on the topic of “Art & Nature.” Light artists from nine different countries will take part in this year’s festival. Visitors will be able to tour the various display sites on foot, or by bus and boat, from 7 PM ‘til midnight.

The artists of "Berlin leuchtet" have been lighting up various landmarks, including the Siegessäule and Gendarmenmarkt, since September 30. Both festivals will run until October 16. By that time, the artists will have lit up about 70 different buildings and public squares - in one of the world’s great light festivals.
