２０１９年１月７日（Mon.） フランスでの政権に対する抗議デモは過激な面もあって、一部に賛同しかねますが、８週続けていることそのものには共感を呼ぶものがあります。 このイエロー・ヴェスト運動に感化されたと思われるデモは、いくつかの国に飛び火しているようです。 民意を汲まない政府や行政などに対する意思表示です。

ドロへダの病院名変更に対する反対の為、多くの人が集まりました。
There was a good turnout of protesters in Drogheda today, as a few hundred people came together to voice their opposition to the proposed name change for Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in the town.
The decision to alter the long-established name, which came unilaterally from senior management at the facility, was deemed ‘bizarre’ by local politicians, and has caused outrage among the population of Drogheda and elsewhere in the country.
The hospital was founded back in the 1950s by Mother Mary Martin and the Medical Missionaries of Mary.
It has been implied that the decision to remove any mention of ‘Lourdes’ is to avoid offending non-Catholic patients.

そもそもカトリックが多いアイルランドのことであるし、難しい判断を要するのかも知れません。 さらに、ドロヘダは、１７世紀中頃、イングランドのクロムウェルの侵攻によって、多くのカトリック教徒達が虐殺された地でもありますので、尚更、その思いは強いのかも知れません（想像）。
何れにしても、話し合いによって決着して欲しいものです。但し、何でもかんでも過半数原理を適用することには賛成しかねます。

それにしても、民意を無視し続ける安倍政権には、抗議の声を上げるべきでしょう。 虚言を繰り返し、悪政の限りを尽くしています。 これに加担し続けるマスコミや同調する議員も同罪です。 後になって、私達も被害者だったとの言い訳は一切許されません。 間違いなく、犯罪への加担者です。
