２０１９年６月３０日（Sun.） G２０を見ていると、改めて、権力の過度の集中は危険と感じています。リーダーの発言だけで右往左往している姿を見ると、政治体制の見直しが必須ではないでしょうか。 もっと議会や組織にウェイトを置くべきです。

Just under 70% of Icelanders are seriously concerned about global warming, RÚV reports. Individuals level of concern about climate issues is, perhaps not unexpectedly, closely related to their political affiliations. These are among the findings of a recent survey on the matter conducted by the firm MMR.

Thirty-five percent of respondents reported being “very concerned” about global warming ad 33% said they were “fairly concerned.” Twenty-one percent said they were neutral on the issue, 5% said they were a little concerned and 6% said they were not very concerned.

Overall, women reported higher levels of concern about global warming than men, with 76% of women saying that they were either “very” or “fairly” concerned about the issue, as compared to 60% of men.

The youngest and the oldest people surveyed reported the highest level of concern, although the older the respondent, the more likely they were to report having “little concern” about global warming. Sixteen percent of respondents 68 years and older said they had “little concern” about the issue, as compared to 7% of the youngest respondents, or those aged 18-29.

Political affiliation split people’s opinions on global warming fairly dramatically. Ninety-six percent of Social Democrats said they were “very concerned,” as did 89% of Left-Greens and 78% of Reform and Pirate Party supporters. Voters on the other end of the political spectrum did still report significant levels of concern, however. Indeed, 60% of Independence Party supporters said they were “very concerned;” 53% of People’s Party and 51% of Progressive Party supporters said they were concerned. Centre Party supporters reported the lowest level of concern, or 39%.

The survey was conducted from May 23 – May 29. Nine hundred and thirty-two respondents aged eighteen and older were selected at random to participate.

送電線からドローンを取り外そうとして男性が感電死しました。

The incident caused power to be suspended in the Cabinteely area of Dublin.

A MAN WAS electrocuted in Dublin yesterday evening while trying to retrieve a drone from overhead electricity cables.
The incident, which led to customers being left without power in the Cabinteely area, saw the man attempt to retrieve his drone from where it was stuck on a power line in a south Dublin park.
Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that the man was suffering from burns and was treated by ambulance staff.

On Twitter, they warned people to never go near ESB electricity cables.
The power line involved in the incident was a 10,000-volt line.

Following the incident, power supply in the Cabinteely and surrounding areas had to be temporarily suspended. On Twitter, ESB said that the supply was only interrupted for a “short period” and apologised to customers.
In a statement issued today and reported by RTÉ, ESB advised people to never attempt to “recover anything that is in contact with electricity wires, or near them, because electricity can jump gaps”.

A sample study of 1000 young Germans between the age of 20 and 35 by Neon Magazine found that 67% of the women involved removed all of their pubic hair off, and 33% shaved partially.
Of the men involved, 50% removed all their pubic hair and 39% partially. Shaving is still the most popular way to get rid of pubic hair.

But a new study from California found that women who shave their pubic hair regularly have a higher risk of contracting genital herpes, genital warts or the dreaded papillomaviruses.
"We know that human papillomaviruses — the viruses that can cause warts in the genital area — are more and more frequent," dermatologist Professor Norbert Brockmeyer told DW.
"By removing the pubic hair, the papillomaviruses that have settled there are more easily distributed. This is particularly true for the pubic bone, from where warts often form on the entire surface of the pubic bone," continued Brockmeyer.
However, Brockmeyer isn't afraid that other venereal diseases can be transmitted more easily.

Rome, the Eternal City, is fast becoming a giant trash pile as rubbish bins overflow across many districts.

The Italian capital produces around 1.7m tons of waste every year, but the problem is that there’s nowhere to put it as the city’s only landfill closed down six years ago. Rome has had a problem with waste accumulation ever since.

Local authorities are now warning that the combination of extremely high temperatures and open waste bins everywhere will likely cause health hazards as dogs, cats, rodents, and other animals pick away the rubbish and move around, potentially spreading disease.

A new water drone was launched by the city of Aarhus on Saturday in a bid to clean up waste in Aarhus stream.

The drone can collect up to 60 kilos of waste before it has to be emptied, which is done manually for now, though an automatic solution will be ushered in after summer.

“The water drone will collect waste so that it does not flow further out into the Aarhus Bay,” Bo Fristed, head of Innovation, Technology, and Creativity in Aarhus Municipality, told DR Nyheder.

“It works completely just like a lawn mower you can have at home in the garden. It sails around within an area that we have identified, and then collects the waste that it gets caught along the way,” he added.

The drone will be in the waters on Fridays and the weekends from 10 to 16.

Fristed is also working on developing technology with which the drone can collect oil and petrol residues from the water.

The initiative supports the UN’s 14th Global Goal, which is about protecting marine life, and preserving and ensuring sustainable use of the world’s oceans and their resources.

Copenhagen getting in on the act
Meanwhile, In Copenhagen, the capital has launched a competition for picking up waste in the city.

People are encouraged to pick up waste in Copenhagen, take a selfie and post it to Facebook or Instagram, using the hashtag, #takforskrald or join Snapchat and send your snap to ‘kbhkommune’.

The competition runs until August 12 after which the city will draw a random winner for the prize, which is a cargo bike.

The only condition of the competition is that people have to collect garbage in Copenhagen only.

それにしても、そもそもはゴミなどを公園や道路に捨てる行為をやめさせることが必須でしょう。 しかし、どこの国にも基本的マナーも守れない稚拙なヤカラはいるようです。

日本などでは、国会議員の資質が問われているぐらいですから、無理ですかね。 各家庭や学校教育・サークル活動などで自然に身につくものだと思いますが、当たり前のように。
