I saw Sheryl Sandberg's talk in "TED", my favorite application, I've been interested with the problem of gender. A fifty-fifty partnership between men and women is more difficult in Japan than Western countries. But I never thought US has a same problem and prejudice. Finding a boss or husband who thinks men and women's roles are equally important is difficult.
If a little boy shows his leadership, adults around him say he has a great sense of being leader, but when girls show the same performance people think "She is bossy". Wow, it's an accurate parable. She said, this is no laughing matter for women, how can we hope to live in an equal environment? Women do not only household work after leaving from office, but sometimes have to work more than men. And company's system often puts men's promotion before women's due to their hesitation over the world. The sooner we think and act on our own, the faster we will reach greater equality.
