今日は、アメリカからいらしたお客様と、ツアーに行って来ました。
Today, I went to a tour with guests from the USA.
港に着いたら山に雲がかかっていたので、お客様と相談して霧の雰囲気が楽しい裏砂漠へ。
When we arrived at the port, clouds were hanging over the mountains. So we discussed and decided to go to the Urasabaku (black desert). Because we can enjoy the fog atmosphere more.
愛ちゃん（山村）も一緒です。
Ai-chan (Yamamura) was also with me.
影絵芝居のような雰囲気を眺めつつ、お客様は…
While watching the atmosphere like a shadow play...
ある時は、小高い場所に駆け上がり…
They ran up to a small place where magma's splashes piled up ...
またある時は、五重の塔作り（？）に挑戦し…
And they were challenging to make a five-storied pagoda (?) ...
（この後崩壊しました(^^;;）
(It collapsed after this (^ ^ ;;)
雲に隙間ができて、太陽が現れた一瞬に…
In the moment when a hole was created in the cloud and the sun appeared…
ひらけた景色を眺めることができました。
we can see the vast landscape..
そして、火山灰を手にして「海岸の砂のようだ」という、鋭い感想を述べられていました。
They were taking a volcanic ash and saying "It looks like sand on a beach" . I think it was a nice impression!
（海岸の砂粒サイズというのが大島の火山灰の特徴と聞いています）
I heard that the volcanic ash of Oshima is the same size as the sand at the beach.
裏砂漠は冷たい風が吹いていたので、今日のランチタイムはここで。
So cold wind was blowing in Urasabaku, we were here in today 's lunch time .
少し窪んでいて風が当たらない暖かい場所を、お客様が見つけてくれました☺️
He found a small dent where wind not hit us and we could spend warmly. ☺
墨絵に消えゆくシャボン玉も幻想的で素敵でした！
A scene that soap bubbles disappearing into ink paintings were also fantastic and lovely!
午後からは「今の時期だから…」ということで、椿祭り会場へ。
Since then, we went to the Tsubaki Festival, because it's on season.
買い物をしたり、踊りを見たりした後…
After shopping and watching dance ...
全員で“あんこ衣装”を来てみることになりました！
All of us decided to wear "Anko costume"!
完成〜☺️

さて、この後は大きくて華やかな園芸種の椿を、ゆっくり見て歩きました。
Well, after this, we walked slowly looking at the big, gorgeous, gardening camellia.
「１ヶ月ぐらい同じ状態で華やかに咲き続け、ある日ゴソッと落ちる」と現地のガイドさんに教えてもらった温室入り口の椿が…
The camellia at the greenhouse entrance was in full bloom!
見事に咲いていました！
Guide of the camellia garden told us that "This camellia continues to bloom gently in about a month, and falls together one day."
そして愛ちゃんが、なぜか（？）木登りの技を披露！
And Ai-chan (Yamamura) show off the technique of climbing trees!

動物園にも行きました。
We also went to the zoo.
カピバラが身を寄せ合っていました。
Capybara were close to each other.
寒いから？
What? Did you feel cold?
水かきを持ったカモが木の上に止まっている風景も、初めて見ました。
We were surprised at the scenery that a duck with foot membranes was on a tree.
冷たい水が嫌になったとか？？（笑）
What? Did you dislike the cold water?
レッサーパンダは寒くないのか、のんびり〜。
Lesser panda was relaxed.
大人気でした。
"It's cute!", We were happy to see them.
そして、こんな光景も見かけました。
And we also saw this scene.
ワオキツネザルがビーバーに変身？？
What? The lemur transforms into a beaver?
あまり流暢な英語は話せませんでしたが、時にはスマホを使って互いに単語を調べつつ皆んなで楽しく歩いた1日でした☺️
We could not speak much fluent English, but sometimes we used smart phones to look for words to each other. And everyone enjoyed walking happily ☺ ️
