今回のプレゼンを作るため『Quotalbe Osler』をパラパラ読み直してみて，新しい発見がいくつかありました。
The young physician starts life with twenty drugs for each disease, and the old physician ends life with one drug for twenty diseases.
この言葉は以前から知っていたのですが，びっくりしたのがこれ。いままで見落としてました。

最近polypharmacyについて問題にされるようになっていますが，何と100年前にOsler先生はPolypharmacyに言及してるんですね。すごいと思いました。何かあることに気づいたり，コレは！と思って調べたりすると大抵は過去にどなたかがすでに指摘していることが多いのですが，まさにこれがそうでした。
もう一つ，へ〜っOsler先生こんなことおっしゃってたんだ〜？とちょっと笑いました。
