Of great concern.... in Australia（オーストラリアでの大きな関心事）

　今日はちょっと嗜好を変えまして、オーストラリア人を見て思ったことを今更ながらに。

　新聞にも書いてたんですが、オーストラリア人はとにかく肥満が多い、しかもちょっと腹でてるとかのレベルではなく、たっぷりでてる方が。。笑
　日本では考えられないけど、オーストラリア人全体の実に５４％が肥満に悩まされ、また自分が肥満であると認識していない人、またはその現実から目を背けてしまってる人が６人に１人もいます。

　しかも前年から比べても増加傾向にあり、今や肥満が普通化している現状に、健康セラピストや医者などは頭を悩ませているとか。

　人口の２０％以上が、体脂肪率３０％を超えてるんやから驚きですわ。けど、オーストラリアに来た時から、太ってる方が多いと思ってたけど、まさか半分以上とは衝撃！！

　ただおじさん、おばさん世代になってくると、ほんまに痩せているというか正常な体型の人を探す方が困難なほどやし、ジャンクフード（マクドナルドやＫＦＣ）などをおじいちゃん、おばあちゃんがよく食べてるのも見かけるくらい。


　日本は健康に気を使うひとが多いけど、こっちはそんなこともないんかなぁと。


　まぁけど好きなもの食べて、満足なら寿命も気にならないかもね。ん～、自分は日本人なんでやっぱり太るんは嫌ですが。。笑







Fat Aussies are in denial, with one out of six obese people believing their weight meets healthy guidelines.
This is the great concern in Austaralia. To be honest, in my opinion, In australia too many people maybe are concerned with about their health because of overweight. I think obese people in Australia is at least three times as many as Japan.

Even when I hang around a local area, I can see those people easily. In fact, 54 per cent of the population was now considered overweight or obese, a 4 per cent increase on last year's results, and more than 21 per cent of the population are categorised as obese or having a BMI rating of more than 30 - up more than 3 per cent on last year's results.

I don't actually know how many people are considered of same issue in Japan, but I'm pretty sure japanese people is less concerned with it.

According to a survey, Aussies are putting themselves at risk of heart disease because they are increasingly unaware of what to do to meet healthy guidelines, particularly when it comes to healthy weight.
As the number of overweight or obese Australians went up, people's perception of it had also shifted.
Of great concern....is the finding that obesity is somewhat normalising.

I think they may need to be more self-aware and self-control to shed their weight.

Fortitude Valley

Hi, how are you??

Have u ever been to a night club in Japan?? It doen't imply suspicious shops, so don't get me wrong!!
What I pointed is the night club which you can dance in there over drink. I know there are a lot of type of night club in Japan, especially Osaka I was born in is being run and crowded with many young people who come to be crazy or pick up girls or something.

But in Brisbane, the scale was much more different, I mean actually I had thought there are little entertaiments and recreation to enjoy in Australia compare to Japan, but I might have underestimated this issue before I visited there. I was astonished and amazed at this area in night time.

I felt like almost Australia young people came over to enjoy the time in fortitude Valley as soon as I arrived at there. 　
I've never seen such a many australian people except on weekend night there. It looked like most of night clubs in Valley was full of people.

I looked like they were a super-model because all girls looked so beautiful with dressing up with twinkling dress.

Moreover in Australia, we don't usually have to pay off the money when we get in a club except special events or parties. In Japan, we need some money to enter, 10～20 dollars on an average. And strange to say, we can see some Asian girls around there, but there are few asian boys. You know the reason why? Because White girls are too tall for asian boys, so if we try chasing a bronde girl, we should be ignored and turned away for sure unfortunately.
But if you are so lucky men, you may be able to take a chace to get it.

And one more thing to say, if you go to Valley, you have to be careful to be involved in a fight because most of vigorous youth are drunk, that's why it's easy to happen a fight between them.
If you find a someone's fight, you'd better keep away from there immediately otherwise you may get injure...




　


　
　オーストラリアには娯楽が少ないといいますが、ここだけは日本より数倍活気があります。そう、「Night Club」です！！
　＊といっても風俗系ではないので誤解なく。

　大学時代、友達とちょこちょこ行ってたけど、梅田や難波とは比ではない。東京はもっとすごいんかもしれんが。
　とりあえず、この街は中心街の一つ横の駅にあって、金曜、土曜の夜はブリスベン中の若者が集まってるといっても過言ではないぐらいの人だかり。
　ほんまに大阪の天神祭りみたいな感じの人だかりが全部外人とイメージしていただければ。（ちょっと大げさかも笑）

　みな女の子はボディコンのような派手な衣装着飾って、クラブに行っては踊り、飲んでって感じ。アジア系の女の子は結構いるけど、男はまぁおらんね。

　なぜかって？相手にされないから。笑

　こっちは日本と違って大抵は入場料は要りません。特別なイベントの時は要るみたいやけどその辺はいいとこかな。雰囲気もみな金髪スーパーモデルみたいなんばっかやから、中入ると最初は絶対圧倒されます。
　
　しかもクラブの数が半端ないほど多い。ここ一帯は昼間は閑静な中華街やねんけど、週末の夜は本当の姿を現します。
　ほんま何個あんのか知らんけど、ここ一帯で５０以上はあるかもしれん。

　日本から友達きてたときに連れて行ったらよかったよ、ミスター姫島！！笑

　とりあえずこの前久々に行ってきたんで記事にしてみました。


　いやぁしかし喧嘩とか、ちっさいいさこざ多かったなぁ、でもほんま楽しかったっす。

Working holiday Visa → Student Visa

Hi, mates!!

I've never written on the category of About Australia on this blog for a long time, so this time let me update on it.

Anyway, I was so busy updating the visa I have. I mean, I had made an arrangement for it. I couldn't be bothered it.

The reason why did I have to do it is my visa will be expired on 17th of this month. I've been here for nealy 2 years. I didn't think I would be still here when I just arrived on Brisbane airpot just two years ago.
I had had a working holiday visa for first one year and then I switched over to second working holiday visa from the second year. If u want to get a second holiday visa in Australia, you have to clear some conditions to be issued it. if u want a further detail, please visit the website of Australia embassy.

Today, I'll tell u how to change a visa from working holiday to Student visa I did. It was really much more complicated to go through the procedure than I expected anyway. I originally thought I wanted to do its all procedures by myself without help, but I luckily found a good agency of supporting about how to do it and I made a request there.
The agency I requested provides many good services for customers, for instance, when I visited there, they provided me a lot of information of school I hope and I could ask them some help for visa without commision.

At first, as a matter of course, I had to decide the school I went and deposited the tuition into the account. After that, you can be applied for student visa by internet nowadays and pay off the money for student visa, it's maybe about 500 dolllars, I reckon. Anyway I thought it was too expensive...

At second, you can be received a confirmation mail from Australian goverment in couple weeks and you need to join a insurance designated for the next one year. it costs you about 200 dollars then as soon as all done I said so far, a temporary student visa or bridging visa should be issued for you.

At last, you have to take a medical checking at designated place. it is taken place over two days, but honestry speaking, I think we can be done all examinations we do within just one day.
anyway it costs you maybe 210 dollars and as soon as you receive the result, just go and had it in immgration office. That's all.

I think it was 1000 dollars in all costs. I feel like I had been spending much time and money between my home and city.
Australi life always spend me time and money, and the much experiences like that I have, the much I learn.






どうも、結構ご無沙汰でした。

　ちょっと今回はカテゴリーも珍しく、オーストラリアのビザについて。

　ええ、もうすぐ自分もこっちにきて２年になります。そして９月まではビザが発行される予定なので、計約２年半こっちにいることになりますが、そのビザの移り変わりを簡単に。
　「First Working holiday visa → Second Working holiday visa → Student visa」

　これが一応自分の辿ってきた道です。First から second working holiday に変更（延長する）には条件があり、それは大使館のWEB SITEから確認してください。
　そして今回ずっと手続きしてたんが、second から student に変更する作業。


　はっきりいって、めっさめんどくさかった。

　最初は代理店通さずに自分でやろうと思ってたけど、あまりに時間かかりそうやったんで、学校案内とビザ手続きの手数料が無料なところを見つけて、頼みました。が、しかし！！
　やることめっさある。。

　まず、当たり前ですが、学生になるわけやから学校を探さないといけない。それで行きたい学校を決めてから始めて、ビザの作業に入ることになる。
　そして、授業料などの見積もりなどを詰めて、お金を入金。その後今はネット申請できるのでネットから必要項目を記入して、申請。金も入金。（これがめっさ高くて５万くらいする）

　さらに、そこからメールで仮ビザ証明書みたいなんが出るのに何週間かかかるんやけど、申請の時に学生保険にも一緒に加入しなダメで、それが２万くらいかな？
　
　ほんで、その仮証明をもらったら、今度は健康診断を指定の病院で受けないといけない。それも１日やったらいいけど２日もいかなあかんくて、両日とも終わるのめっさ早いし、診察も疑わしいくらいあっさり終わる。笑　

　ほんまこれは１日に短縮できるあっさりさやと思いますわ。笑

　そしてこれにも金かかってこれも２万ちょいやったかな。

　んで、その診断結果を次は移民局に持っていって、やっとすべての申請作業が終了。


　ほんまに何回中心街と家往復したことか。かかった費用も１０万くらい。ビザ申請でこれは高すぎでしょ、いくらなんでも。

　ほんまに海外生活は何をするにも金と時間を要する。それを改めて実感した今回の出来事でした。

XXXX Gold and Bundaberg-RUM-

How are you, bro?

Can you recognize the two names in the title?

They are kind of drink - beer and rum coke. Have you known them already??
If you so, you might have been Queensland before...

Anyway, let me explain in these background today.

First, both of them are made in Queensland, thats why if you go to a pub in Queensland, you can get them everywhere and these drinks are alway on tap and available for Queenslander.

Actually I'm always drunk them in my work place by my boss after work on Friday. And then they go and drink a pub in the city on Friday night.
My boss always organizes them for workmates and the people work under him. and they work off their daily frustrations and accumlated fatigue in the week over drinking.

And I looked into the roots for 'xxxx Gold' and 'Bundaberg Rum'. For instance, how were they begun running, by whom was built etc... Anyway I wanted to know the history of them, mate!!

XXXX Gold is growing rapidly outside of Queensland and is now the second largest beer brand in Australia.
XXXX was brewed under licence in the UK and was commonly available in cans in British off licences. It could also sometimes be found on tap in British pubs, although it was much less widely available than Foster's (which is found in many UK pubs).
The XXXX's brand was first introduced in 1924 and is a throwback to the long standing tradition of using Xs to indicate the strength of an ale.

The history of Bundaberg Rum began over one hundred years ago in the Bundaberg sugar cane region of Central Queensland. Bundaberg first began producing commercial sugar in 1872.
Oneday The farmers knew it could be converted into rum and little distilleries cropped up all over Queensland.

In 1888, several of the small sugar producers banded together to float a new public company. This promptly set about making the product that quickly became 'Famous' for its taste and quality.

　It's a little bit of trivia, merely a general knowledge for Queenslander.

このタイトルの２つの名称、なんだかわかりますか？

　正解は、「お酒」の銘柄。

　
　これら２つとも、ここQueensland州産のモノで、XXXX Goldがビール、Bundabergがカクテル。ちなみにXXXXは「フォーエックス」と読みます。
　XXXXの方は、ビターと２種類あって、Bundabergはラムをコーラで割った、ラムコーク（キューバリバー）というお酒。

　自分はあんまお酒飲めないんで、うまいかどうかは断言できないのが残念ですが、とりあえずラムコークの方は甘ったるい！！しかもすぐ酔いが回る。。
　
　うちの仕事先の社長さんも、仕事終わったらこればっか飲んでるし、飲まされるし、ほんま誇りもってるんかして、やたらと熱く語ってくる。うっとしいぐらいに。。。

　
んで、この機会にちょっと調べたんやけど、この「X」ってのは、昔はお酒の濃度を示すものさしだったそうで、４つも付いてるからそれなりに強いお酒やったみたい、さらにイギリスのパブでも結構親しまれてるビールで、オーストラリア国内では２番目に大きなビール会社だそうです。

　ラムの方は、１００年も昔、サトウキビで有名だったBundabergという小さな町の住民達が、この豊富な砂糖をラムに変えて製造できるのではないか、というアイデアから急速に成功を収め、現在のような有名ブランドとしての地位を築き上げたそう。


　ちょっと長くなったけど、どうでもいい豆知識でした。笑

I haven't been depressed by the trial result, don't worry about it plz.

Well, today's theme is internet in Australia!!
How's your situation of internet access at the moment? I think you guys have good internet access unrestricted ever, but there has been much different situation in Australia from Japan.
　
We are always kept controling when I use internet, especially we need to pay attention while watching movie or something on Youtube or download something because almost people was set how much download they can use every month, it depends on a rate plan they have.

in Japan, most of families can use internet freely and much faster to connect with internet access. Moreover it's much cheaper cost than Australia.
If we think of taking out a more comfortable plan like watching freely on Youtube, it will cost us an incredible much money.

That's why the capacity of download we can use in a month is only 12GB...

If I do much dawnload for myself in a day(propably more than 15 mins), I'll give offence to my share owner..
So I must be careful not to use it too much every night...

　ひさびさになってまいましたね、テストあかんかったから落ち込んでた訳ちゃいますよ。笑
　
　最近、パソコンが使えない日々が続いてまして。。

　うちのシェアハウスのパソコン環境を変える為に、ちょっとした工事をしてた関係でして。。

　んでもってこっちのパソコン環境なんですが、残念ながら日本の方が遥かに便利です！！
　料金は高いし、遅いし、ダウンロード制限あるしで、気ーつこてしゃぁないですわ。。


　日本って、ほとんどの家庭がダウンロードし放題やと思うねんけど、こっちは違ってて、もしダウンロードし放題のプランにしようもんなら、月額ですごいお金が必要になります。。
　うちの家は月に１２GB！！！すくなっ！！笑

　ありえないです。
　youtubeやったら毎日１０分くらいしか動画見れません。


　もし、一日１時間も見ようモンなら、オーナーが怒ってきます。「使いすぎやねん！！」ってな具合に。（しかも関西弁で（嘘））
　なにはともあれ、今日復活したんで、また更新していきます！！

I think everybody knows women loves gossips, eh?? This is what is called 'GIRLS TAIK'.
They normally can taik endless about some Juicy gossips for few hours they got. It is no matter how personal or confidential the matters or news.

So you have to be more careful what you tell her after read this - the average woman can't keep a secret for longer than 48 hours and if there's alcohol in the mix it will be spilled even sooner.

That's funny, don't you think so??

But this is a kind of reseach that was investigated in UK. So I don't think what they found is can count on Japanese women. But I think you need to consider it at the back of your mind.

　しらん間に、このブログを開設してから５００日が経ってました。日本を出る時に作ったから、もう１年半くらいですね。いやはや、早いモンです。

　最近、こっちの現地の新聞でおもしろい記事を発見しました。　
　
　恐らく、これを聞くと女性に対して秘密を打ち明けられなくなるのでは？笑

　ちょっとしたイギリスでの調査結果なんですが、１８～６５才までの女性３０００人を対象に、打ち明けられた「秘密」、いわゆるGOSSIP(ゴシップ＝噂話)が、平均的に約２日以内に誰かに言いふらされてしまうということ！！！爆笑

　そう、女性は秘密を守れないんです！！笑

　確かに、あくまで平均値ですし、イギリスの調査なのですべてが日本の女性に当てはまるといっているわけではありません。が！！たとえどんなに個人的な秘密、極秘なニュース、どんな重要事項であっても、言いふらしてしまうのも止めれないと書いてます！！爆笑


　ほんまね、この記事、電車ん中で読んでたんやけど、見ながら吹いてもたからね。笑

　まだ記事は続きまして、例えば、１週間以内で３つの秘密を聞いてしまった女性について、１０人中、３人はその３つの秘密をすべて話してしまう可能性がある、１０人中、その半分は、「自分の胸のうちをすっきりさせる為」全部話してしまうって。

　もはや、こんなもん秘密でもなんでもありません。笑

　でもね、その言ってしまった人の３分の２は、言いふらしてしまったことを後悔するそう。（なんじゃそれ）

　けど、残った１０人中２人は、しっかり秘密を守りとおせる人らしいです。


　けどね、これ最後にオチがちゃんとあって、秘密を知った、２７％の人は、その次の日までに、すでに忘れちゃってるみたい。。。
　ってことは、秘密を守ってるというより、忘れてる！？

　あー、なんか世の中の女性をバカにしてるみたいやん。けして僕はそんなこと思ってませんから！！汗　単なる記事ですから！！

　しっかし、自分が信用できると思ってる女性（彼女であっても）でも、もしかした誰かに秘密を暴露されているのかも・・・・。

Life on Mars（dust storm 砂塵嵐）

Life on Mars!!

Everybody in east coast of Australia must have felt fearful and felt like being on Mars at that moment.

the all east and north coast area was blanketed with a fierce dust storm which developed at the Outback.
And the dust storm stretched from Canberra to the North coast up to Mackay with expanding its influence.

According to a newspapar article, the storm hit Sydney before dawn, meaning residents there woke to a thick red haze that shut down the airport and led to warnings for people with allergies or respiratory problems to stay indoors.

Moreover, almost commuters on their way to work or school used swine flu masks, tea towels, and king of jackets to protect their faces from dust and to avoid breathing in dust into their bodies


I also fell like being in a science-fiction movie, and it was like watching 'Independence Day or War of the World'.

It was really an eerie thing..... because 16,000 tonnes of the dust was actually raining down each hour.

Can you imagine what happened in Australia?

But we've already been back in an ordinary life with a calm weather since the next day.

誰か待ってた方、ありがとうごぜぇます！！

　
今日はですね、Life on Mars（火星での生活）と題したタイトルのように、昨日、内陸部で発生した強烈なストームが砂塵を巻き上げながら、オーストラリアの東海岸のほぼ全域を包むように通過していきました。

　その結果、ブリスベンでは朝１０時くらいからかな？
　　
　もうそっから空がずっと赤に染まってて、昼やのに夕方かと錯覚してしまうような感じ。太陽の光さえも覆うくらいでマジ奇妙でしたわ。。
　
　シドニーの方は、空港なんかも完全に閉鎖されてて、道行く人らは皆、インフルエンザ用のマスクしたり、タオルとか使ったりして塵・埃を警戒してるくらいひどかったらしい。


　こっちはそんな感じでもなかったけど、多少息苦しかったりってのはあったし、アレルギーなんか持ってる人は大変やったと思う。
　
　なんせ４０年振りに発生した規模やったらしいからね、なんか異常ですわ！
　
　ほんま「アルマゲドン」とか「宇宙戦争」みたいな映画の中にいるみたいな感覚やったし、一瞬、このまま世界おわんのちゃうか。。とかおもてもうたからなぁ。

Tax return

Today, continued from the last entry on Tax. Everybody remember?
If anybody forget it, please remember it right now, OK?


But I'm not professional about tax,u know I'm neither an account nor an expert on tax, so this is what I just want you warn first before read this below.

so I wrote on Tax before and Taxes are withheld from monthtly or fortnightly your income automatically. This is normal.
Even if you go to other countries, you have to pay a tax for their countries.

But originally we don't have to pay them cuz we are treated as foreigner. As a matter of course, in my case, I'm not Australian. so I can't claim equality of treatment and compensation same as Austalian on insurance, pension and welfare so on.., even if how much money I would pay taxes.

That's why we can claim to goverment through an accountant to return the taxes which you couldn't help but pay. Of course I did it as well and the taxes was refund in 3 weeks after reclaimed.

But each person are in different situation, and this depends on visa which each has.
However Many students and workers from japan go back without appling for a tax refund. Almost of them gives it up early before look into by themselves how to reclaim. They believe just a ridiculous rumor.








　この前書いた「TAX」の続きです。　

　その時に書いた、税金を給料からやたらと天引きされる！！という話。実は、取られたお金１００％戻ってきます！それがこのタイトルにもある「タックスリターン」というやつ。

　「１００％」というのは、もちろん持っているビザの種類にも因りますし、その人のおかれてる立場・状況にも差が生じるとは思いますが、ごく一般的な学生ビザや、ワーホリビザの場合は還ってくると考えていいのではないでしょうか。
　
　＊注　　もちろん専門家ではないので、これらの発言に対する責任はとりかねますので、その辺は自分でしっかりお調べになってくださいね。


　なんでも、居住者と非居住者の判断により異なる、とよく聞かされましたが、今まで働いてきた会社がしっかり税金を国に納めてくれてて、なおかつタックスリターン申請に必要な書類を用意してくれるところであれば、還ってくると思います。
　会社によっては、法律スレスレの方法でイカサマしてるとこがよくあるみたいなので、特に日系は。。。　
　
　あとは、信頼できる税理士・会計士に依頼すれば、手数料は１００ドル（今のレートで９千円くらい？）でやってくれます。

　実際自分も、申請から３週間と経たずに還ってきたので、「しっかりご自分で調べた上で」トライしてみては？　

　どうせ無理やし、と諦めて帰るのは非常にもったいないと思います。

TAX

　Hi, mates!!

The girl who moved in our share-house couple months ago left here about a week ago. But don't get me wrong, please. The reason is not because of me.lol
She seemed to be in trouble on her work. well I don't care about her.

Today's theme is about "Tax in Australia". As a matter of course, Australia has much difference of Tax system from Japanese one obviously.
First, when it comes to consumption tax(duty), we are obligate to pay taxes of 5% per an item. In case of Australia, it's 10% besides all perishable foods. It means vegetables and fishes aren't applied to it.

Incidentally, it was 17.5% when I visited UK 3 years ago. So I think It is still really cheap over consumption tax in Japan.

And basically, the tax concessions has been given to Aussie, Foreigners can't get it same as Aussie and person who has a permanent visa. As the result, especially people who has a working holiday visa has been levied a heavy tax.

Do u think how much it is?

It's 30%!!! Can u believe this? Even if u work for 200,000 yen, you will be able to get a pay for only 140,000 yen. I think this is ridiculous system for working holiday visa holders.

As you know from this tax system, it's not really easy for foreigners to work in Australia.

So I really recommend you to fully prepare everything and to make a atable plan before buy a flight ticket. or you must regret definitely after come to Australia.



　

えー、この前入居してきはった韓国人の女の子が、もう出て行きはりました。笑

　僕のせいじゃないからね。笑　
　仕事のトラブルみたい。。

　
　てなわけで（無理矢理の切り替えですが笑）、今日のお題は、「税」です！！
　
　オーストラリアと日本では、税率が違います。（当たり前か。。）こっちの消費税率は１０％！！ただし、生鮮食料品には適用されないようです。

　おれが３年前くらいに英国行った時は、もっと高かったから、日本は消費税率世界的にも低いんちゃうかな？（あくまで推測）


　あとは基本的にオーストラリアの税制はオーストラリア人か否か、それか自分が今持ってるビザによって税率がかなり変わってきます。

　日本人の場合、市民権、もしくは永住権以外のビザ（たいていは学生ビザかワーホリビザ）の人はかなり天引きされます！！
　
　特にワーホリ！！

　ほんまえぐい！！

　なんと３０％ほど給料からひかれてしまいます！！ほんまは２０万の給料が１４万になったり。。でかいっしょ！？

　
　ちなみにある一定の年収がある方の所得税も４５％と聞きました。おそろしや、オーストラリア。。。（日本の奥さん以上にこっちは苦労してるのかも笑）

　けど、ほんまにこっちで「働く」って大変なことなんです。みな、生活の為に必死で働いて、結局英語に携わる余裕なく帰国していく。。そんな人らが五萬といてます。
　
　
　こっちに長期滞在を考えてる方、偉そうなこといってますが、しっかり計画を立てて、ある程度の余裕を持って来ることを強くお勧めします。日本で先に苦労しとくか、こっち来てから苦労するか、自分なら絶対前者です。

Our earth is in a swelter.

Com'on, buddy!! too hot today!! I'm sweltering.
This is an abnormal weather phenomenon, isn't it? When I woke up today, I felt something wrong with the temperature,I mean much hotter than usual.

So I turned on the TV to watch the weather news and I found an interesting and serious news about it.

Some of the hottest August weather in recorded history has brought summer temperatures to Queensland.

The heat, also affecting parts of New South Wales, the Northern Territory and South Australia, has lifted Sunday's maximums up to 16 degrees above average. The heat wave is now into its third day with many stations posting new August records on Saturday, only to break them a day later.

Cunnamulla, in the Maranoa, recorded 37 degrees today. That is a huge 16 above average and their hottest August day in 102 years of records. Bedourie, in the Channel Country, saw another 38 degrees, their third consecutive day above 36 degrees.

Monday looks set again for some more records to fall as winds strengthen from the west and northwest. All eyes are on Brisbane which should make it into the low 30's. The heat and forecast gusty winds has led to a fire weather warning being issued for the eastern Warrego, Maranoa, Darling downs, Granite Belt, Wide Bay and Burnett and the South East Coast.

Tuesday will see another hot day before a weak cool change tries to push through late on Tuesday. Further cooling on Thursday and Friday should bring maximums closer to average, before warming again.

It's time to consider once seriously about the environment concerns which we're now facing on.

最近ネットの調子がわるかったんやけど、また回復してきたので機嫌がいいbacteriaです。
　
　
　今日更新するつもりなかったんやけど、あまりにも今日暑すぎて、ニュースみたら過去の記録塗り替えるぐらいって大題的にやってたから、こら書かないといかんなと。笑


　てかみな知ってる思うけど、オーストラリアは南半球にある大陸なんで、季節が北半球に位置する日本とは逆であり、今現在は「真冬」にあたります！
　＊北部は赤道付近の為、一年中暑いけど！！

　で、なんか最近暑いわ、おもてたら土曜から異常に気温が上がってて、観測１０２年の歴史で最高に暑い８月になったとさ。
　んで、平均気温からはなんと。。「＋１６℃」！？笑

　もう笑うしかないです。。。

　ここブリスベンも３０℃を越えたりしてるから、ほんまえぐい！！だっておれ２日前まで夜ストーブつけてたのに、今扇風機つけて寝ようとしてるからね。笑

　ほんまどんだけやねん！！！

　
　日本でも地震やら大洪水あったみたいやけど、まじちっさな事から地球労ってこ、こりゃまじ危険だわ。。

today I'll write about public transport in Australia. Basically, the public transport which people in Australia make use of is same as Japan, Taxi,bus and train etc..

In Japan, The train is the most convenient mean of transport and the next effective mean is bus as you know.
But in Australia, Almost people makes use of a bus and more than that, they always use their own car.

There are lots of diffrence between Australia and Japan on transport. At first, I'll talk about bus. When it comes to bus system on this two countries, they don't exactly the same.

Especially, what I was surprised is what there was no announcement about next stop for customers in the bus. That's why I couldn't get off the stop which I wanted to when I boarded the bus for the first time.

And then I started hesitating to make use of a bus ever since I experienced it..
If you go to the place to which you've never been by bus, you should be careful and check outside all the time.

And next, about train. train is also much different from Japan.
First, all doors of the train doesn't work automatically as soon as stops the station. If you want to get in it, you have to turn the door handle by yourself otherwise the train would be gone.

moreover it's very unique how to buy a ticket for train. In japan, we have to buy a ticket before go through a ticket gate and show a ticket to a collector when we go through there. But in Australia, when it comes to local station, nothing, no gate, no stuff in the station. It's no exaggeration to say that we can get in it for free, without paying..

But naturally, sometimes some security stuff comes over and check it out each costomers to discover a person who gets in without have a ticket on board.

Don't be silly!! This is common sense.








こんにちわ、そしてこんばんわ！！今年、私の年齢は「厄」付きらしいので、気をつけます。笑
　
　今回はですね、オーストラリアの公共交通機関事情と題しまして、日本との違いを含めちょっと書こうかなと！！

　まず基本は、電車、バス、タクシーなど、日本と手段は変わりません！！タクシーはこっちきて乗ったことないけど、バスやら電車は移動にはかかせないでしょう！

　まずバスやけど、ほんまにこれは難しいです、というのも、日本みたいに丁寧に次の停車ポイントのアナウンスなんかないから、外の風景だけを頼りに降りなければなりません””
　もし初めていく土地だったら、もう大変ですわ！！景色とか全然しらんからどこで降りたらええかわからんもん。笑
　そんなときは、乗る時に「～に着いたら声かけて」とか乗る時にドライバーさんにゆうしかないっすね！！けど、車内が込み合ってたらジ・エンド！！日本がいかに最高かわかります。笑


　
　続いて電車！！実はこっちきてもう１年以上経つのに、つい先日初めて乗りました！！！笑
　最初どない乗ったらええんか不安やったけど、サイトなんかで調べれば簡単に行き方がわかるし、バスよりは確実に駅に着くからおれはこっちのほうが安心。。

　けど、これも違いがめっさあって、まず電車のドア開けるのにドアノブがあってそれをひねらんと開かない！もたもたしてると電車乗れずにいっちゃうからね。笑
　降りるときもドアノブやボタンを押して開けないとこれまたドアが開かない！！

　一回、ドアノブが堅くてまわらんくて、降りれずに電車動き出してめっさキレてる人いました！ってそら怒るよ、普通！
　さらに、切符やけどこれもまたおもろいねん！でっかい駅やとちゃんと改札に人がいて切符のチェックするんやけど、ちっこい駅やとそれがない！しかも切符販売機もホームの中にあるから、タダで乗れちゃう。。（でもあかんで、やったら！）

　けど、聞くところによると、やっぱり切符確認で、乗車中に駅員が切符チェックしにくるみたい。。けどおれはまだ見たことないからそんな頻度高くないはず。
　でも、もしタダ乗りがバレちゃったらかなりでかい罰金らしいので、お金はちゃんと払いましょう！！笑
　
　日本みたいに乗り越しもでけんから、ちゃんと切符の値段確認しないと、故意ではなくても、罰金ってなことになっちゃうんで、注意！

　料金はバスも電車もＺＯＮＥ制っていって、どこからどこまでが１zoneとかって決められてて、その範囲なら３ドルとかって決められてる。ゆうたら、日本の電車の料金システムと似てるかな。
　
　まぁそんなとこです、けどやっぱ思うのは車持ってるのがほんま便利やと思う、バスは本数多いけど、電車は少ないし、駅の数もめっさ少ない！だから目的地まで電車＋バスの乗り継ぎでいかないとあかんとこもたくさんあるし、日本のほうがこの点に関しては断然優れてるのは間違いないでごわす！！

ORIGIN

「ORIGIN」


Do you know what this is? I didn't know well about that until today.

Naturally, I haven't known as well how important matches this is for Aussie.
But this the biggest sports event in Australia made me amazed and fascinated obviously the moment I watched it.

Have you ever watched Rugby league on TV in Japan?
Yes I have, many times, but as if I felt like watching a quite different sport..

Amazing.. I don't know how can I describe it, I can't explain how amazing it is.. anyway different all stuff!! movement, physical, quickness, even spectator.

In a way, I was so jealous of them who can play with a lot of exciting supporters.

This annual fantastic event is hold every year between QLD and NSW. I think this is a kind of all-star game in pro rugby league of Australia.I'm not sure why QLD and NSW matches-up all the time, but almost people of other state also cheers for either team.

In addition, QLD is winning 4 years in a row, they won tonight as well!!

Thanks for giving me a exciting night, Origin!!
I will be watching next game, I became a fan of this.





「Origin（オリジン）」。　意味は起源、原点。

　今日はなんの話すんねんこのハゲ！？おもたそこのキミ！！いや、お前！！ん？オノレ！！やっぱ、皆様！！

　そう、ここオーストラリアでＮＯ１の人気スポーツ「ラグビー」のこと！！今シーズン真っ盛りの大熱狂でありますわぃ！
　
　そして今日、夜練習やったんやけど、やけにあっさり終わったなとおもたら、そっからみなクラブハウスで着替えるや否や、でっかいスクリーンでラグビー観戦！！この為かい！！！？
　おいおい、と思いながら帰ろうおもたらチームメートの一人が、「オリジン知ってるか？」って、「よーしらん」って言ったらそっから頼んでもないのに過去の戦績やらオージーにとってどれぐらい燃えるスポーツなんかとか色々熱く語られ、終いには「いいから見て帰れ」。チーーーン。。。。。（あんま興味ねぇぇぇ！！）

　一応、説明しとくと、冒頭に書いた「Origin」とは、ＱＬＤ州とＮＳＷ州の選抜チームが、３回戦制で年に１回「どっちが最強」かを決める為に、ガチンコバトルを繰り広げます。（まじド迫力すぎて腰抜かします。。）これとは別にちゃんとしたラグビーのプロリーグもあんねやけど、まぁ強いて言えば、オールスター戦ってとこかな？（あんま詳しくしらんけど笑）
　なんでこの二つの州だけが対戦してんのか知らんねんけど、他の州の人も必ずどっちかの応援してます、くそ熱狂的やで、ほんま！！
　
　で、試合やけど、まじ半端ない！！興味ないとかゆってたけど見てみたらやばすぎ！！途中、おもっきり喧嘩みたいなん勃発しまくってたし、ボブサップみたいなんが１５対１５で８０分間ぶつかり合いやで？一回一回が相撲の立ち合いやしな、世界で一番日本人が出場不可と思われるスポーツイベントやとおもたわ、ＮＢＡよりもＮＦＬよりも難しいんちゃうかな、あれは。。

　ちなみに結果はＱＬＤ州の勝利！！あ、これおれがずっと住んでる州です。ちなみにそのチームメート曰く、過去４年連続で勝ち越してるらしい！！笑

　とまぁ、ひさびさにオーストラリアのテレビに釘付けにされた夜でした！！明日練習試合みたいなことゆーてたから、アピールできるように精一杯やってきます！

Easter（復活祭）

Hi, good evening, ladies ＆ gentlemen.

Today's 'Easter'!!!

Did you know that?
I think it might be unfamiliar day in Japan due to the day for Christians.
In other words, it's like, what is call 'Golden Week' of Australia version.

This is the day which celebrate the resurrection of Christ, is held on first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox every year.

Anyway what's the Easter?? Ok, I'll answer it over simply and specific for you guys.

4/10 (Fri）：Good Friday（the day which Christ was killed on the cross）
4/11（Sat）：nothing
4/12（Sun）：Easter Sunday（which returned its to life）

Right?? Is there someone who know if this is a collect?

sorry.. please don't believe in all what I wrote.

But If you stroll around the city during the Easter, lots of poster on the street, was written 'Happy Easter',gonna jump to your eyes in many times.

　英語で上にも書いたけど、イースターて４日間つづくんやけど、最初の日がキリストさんが、十字架にかけられて死んじゃった日
　
　んで、一日はさんで、３日目がそのキリストさんが命を取り戻して「復活」を見事遂げた日。

　で、最終日が、キリストさんが天国に帰っていった日。　　らしい。。

おれも１００％正解かどうかはしらん！！自身をもって言うけど、定かではない！
！笑

おれもどっかから引用して英語にしてみただけやから、なんともその引用先に聞いてくれとしかいいようがない、超無責任ぶりやねんけど、用は西洋版ＧＷってことで、お祭りなわけです。

まぁ大まかな説明で細かい質問、疑問噴出やけど、おれには聞かず、自分でお調べください！！笑

Give me a job

Hey Hey Hey!!
How can i get a job?
Please let me know if you have the knack....
It has been 3 weeks since I began job-hunt.
It made me realized to get a job in a foreign country again.
In the beginning of job-hunt, I expected I'll be able to find a job easily. I had been optimistic about it. But this was completely wrong.

as a matter of a fact, to find a job in here is not difficult if you say you'll work anywhere.
but my case is a little different. because I'd like to work with Australian. To put it clearly, I hope I work under Australian owner.
There are some reasons in this.
1. Good atmosphere(can use English)
2. Nomal pay rate
3. fit my lifestyle

what I want you to pay attention is '2'about pay rate.
Do you know almost japanese worker works on unbelievable wage?
Do you know how much they can receive money per a hour?
I say in advance, this is a illegality.
Honestly speaking, The answer of the quetion is less than 10 dollars.
Some people still work cheaper then 10 dollars.
It'll come to about 600yen per a hour if it convert into yen.
Can you believe that?
For sure, they have some disadvantage to get a local job. Firstly not to speak English perfectly.
but even so, this is really unfair i think.

Anyway I'll keep looking for a job not to regret.

　ういっす！！ひさびさです。ちょっと最近いろんなことがうまくいかな過ぎて、イライラというか、軽い挫折を味わってます。
　やっぱ物事が自分の計画どおりすすまんとなにかしら焦るし、周りもどんどん見えなくなっていって悪循環になってくよなぁ、まさにそれ！！その状態！！
　ほんま苦労さしてくれるよ、オーストラリア！！！！むしろオーストリアと呼ばしていただく！この際。腹立つから。。笑

　と、切り替えましょう！！すみません愚痴ばっかで。。

　今回はこちらのお仕事での豆知識？です。結構前にも仕事のことでブログにかいたんやけど、今回は少し違って、ものすごい不公平なことがあるから書いてみました。
　というのも、おれも今仕事さがしてるんやけど、それもオーストラリア人が経営してるとこ。
　けどそんなもん当たり前と思うかも知れんけど、ところがどっこいやっぱアジア色が強いオーストラリアは日系やらアジア系が経営してる店が多いんですわ。日本食レストランもシティ行けば腐るほど。。はないにしろいっぱいある。だから当然日本人もそこで働くわけよ。働きやすい環境やし。　

　ここまではいいよ、でここからが大問題！！！
時給がくそ安いねん！普通オーストラリアのオーナーの下で働くとだいたい２０ドルは超えるわけよ（日本円で今のレートやと１３００円ってとこかな）そんで最低賃金ってのもちゃんと法律で定められてる。（約１０００円くらいかな）
　日本より物価が高いから当然やねんけど、このアジア系オーナー達は、１０ドル前後（６００円？）、ありえないでしょ？しかも日本より物価高いねんで？？
　
　けど、やっぱ英語っていうハードルが高いからなかなか難しいねんけどね、やっぱ仕事はコミュニケーション不可欠ですから。だからそれにつけこんで、こんな低賃金に設定して働かせてるんですね。恐ろしい。。
　つかまらんのかね？？

　ということで、おれも苦労しているのです。もう電話やら面接やら２０回はしてるけど、不景気をあいまみ合って、結構苦しい現状ですね。しかしめげない！！
昨日も腹立つから町の高級ホテル回って、直接履歴書だしてきたわ！！笑　結構受け取ってくれたりして、もしや？なんて期待してる今日この頃です。

Car inspection

How's going mate?(How are you of Aussie English)

Not too bad.

Anyway I'm gradually getting used to life in Brisbane. So not too bad!!
Because I'm living in here with beautiful location,gentle share owner,loving friend.

However happiness doesn't last such a long time. Oneday I went to repair shop to inspect my car. what's call regular inspestion once a half year(semi-annual)

And it was the worst consequence as I had feared. because the repairing cost against my car was very expensive more then I thought. I was said that costs at least more than 2000 dollars!! I couldn't believe this the moment I heard it.

After all I repaired for 1400 dollars. this was minimum price for what I had to repair.
Anyway it was all done. so my car completely recovered at the moment.
That's why I'll be able to drive at ease.

　



今回はこちらの車検の話。こっちはほんま車検ださん車（一応違法なので出してるけど、その他のメンテナンスはほったらかし）多いんですわ。だから路面のそこいらにバースト跡やら道路脇みれば、なにかしらのトラブルで車が止まってたりしてます。なんせ、おれの車ももうすぐ３０万キロに突入するしな。笑
　

　で、購入してから結構経つから定期点検に出しました。ところ、、、結果は後にしてこっちには都市部の近くに日本人の整備士が働いてる工場とかが結構あって、たいがい車持ってる日本人はそこらへんに行くんやけど、ぼったくられたりもするそうです。（完全に余談でした）
　

　で、おれもそうしようかなとおもたんやけど、度胸試しでこっちのローカルの業者にお願いすることにして英会話で戦ってきました。笑

　何回も行って、見積もりだしてもらっては、わからん単語調べ上げて、しかも車用語やからチンプンカンプンで、今では結構車に詳しくなってるかもしれません。
おかげでオイル漏れやら、タイヤやら色々変えたら１０万以上かかっちゃったけど、後々調べると、妥当でやっぱ車傷んでたんやなと反省してます。


　やっぱこっち来たからには色々失敗しながら経験積んでいきたいし、結構この出費は痛かったけど、車は生死を分けるもんやから、渋々呑みました！！
　ほんまええ経験してますわ。まじ帰ったら話すネタなんぼでもあんぞぃ！笑


　あと、今回写真貼り付けて見ました。先日来た友のカメラの最高傑作！？です。場所はモートン島っていう世界第３位の砂でできた島（ちなみに１，２位もオーストラリア）の夕暮れです。素晴らしかった！！サンクス！友！！
