In Hiroshima

Hi, guys.

I visited Hiroshima after Kyoto.　

京都の次は広島へ。

 

I've been to Kyoto many times before, but it was my first time to be in Hiroshima this time. I loved the great atmosphere of the Hiroshima city as well as Kyoto. The center of the Hiroshima city was not that sizable to look around and very clean. And what made me feel familiar with being Hiroshima was a large number of foreign visitors. 

  何度も訪れた京都とはまた違った雰囲気の場所。外国人も京都並みにいて、街自体が綺麗でサイズも人もごちゃごちゃしている感じはなく、住んでみたいとも思いましたね。やっぱり外国人が多い地域の方がテンション上がるし、妙に居心地がいい。

There were a lot of places to get around the town of Hiroshima such as Hiroshima castle(above), A-dome, Museum of the warfare, peach memorial park and Miyajima(island) where is registered as a world heritage site.

  広島城や護国神社、原爆ドームに資料館、平和公園と市内は回るところがたくさんあります。資料館で原爆の歴史に触れ、その生の映像や当時の物を目の辺りにして目頭が熱くなりました。ここは行って本当によかったと思う。

What I was most surprised when I was in the town was that there were more huge number of Aussie tourists rather than Americans. As you know, Hiroshima is the first city to be detonated an atomic bomb by US in WWⅡ.. When I visited the museum and see various debris and remembraces of the day, tears naturally welled up in my eyes.. 

  宮島も行きました。厳島神社に有名な揚げもみじや牡蠣などを食べ歩いて楽しかったです。島では鹿が襲ってきますが・・・。笑　あと、広島焼きは最高にうまかった。お好み焼きより自分は広島焼きの方が断然うまかったなぁ・・。

But all in all, I really enjoyed during the trip including the Miyajima island where is known for oysters and some other tasty foods!!

Cherry blossoms in Kyoto, Japan.

Hi, guys.

I went cherry blossom viewing the other day in Kyoto for the first time in several years.

Even more impressively on site, there were more of international visitors rather than Japanese ones. I felt so familiar with the atmosphere unique to Kyoto as I'd been out of japan for the most of time of last 7years.

Of course, I am STILL a Japanese, though.. lol

  ども。ひさしぶりに日本で桜が見れました。

　日本に戻って慌しいですが、先日、京都へ。そして外国人の多さに感動さえ覚えました。住むなら京都がいいと本気で思いましたね。

Then, I drew my fortune to get my fortune this year told. It's unique to Japan called Omikuji - a piece of paper which can be got in the most Shinto shrines during the New Year.

You can pick it up at random and on the paper, it is saying how lucky you are.
You might see in shrines many paper fortune is fastened to trees or ropes. There are some explains for this custom and major one.

"If the paper says you'll have excellent luck this year, you should bring it on your person. However, if it says bad luck might strike you this year, you can fasten it up to a tree or a rope in the shrine and you can escape from the bad luck."
This custom is stem from not only religious belief but traditional behavior.

As for myself... I don't wanna say, but.. yea I drew a curse which is the worst luck in Omikuji..

清水寺で引いたおみくじはなんと「凶」。なぜ出たのかの理由も納得。笑

Anyway, I visited some other shirines and temples in Kyoto. It was absolutely a wonderful day, but I still remember how much of impact I received when I laid my eyes on Angkor Watt in Cambodia. I know I shouldn't compare it to others, but it was too impressive to get rid of. 

  三十三間堂にも行き、１０００体の観音像に圧倒されながらもカンボジアのアンコールワットと比べてしまい、あまりインパクトはなく。ですが、ひさびさに訪れることができた京都。いつ行っても素晴らしい場所ですね。

In April

　I've really been putting off blogging these days.　I just have nothing to write down here, though..

　The beautiful season has come, and the day I temporarily return to Japan is approaching. I will be a bit longer than last time in Japan to sort things out for the next dream. But I won't stop playing football, though.

 I will immediately let you guys know here when I nail down what I'm doing next.

　また久々になってしまいました。

　もう４月ですが、今月１０日に帰国します。今回は少々滞在期間が長く、１か月以上はいることになりそうです。選手として第一に考えるのはここで一旦区切りをつけようとも考えています。そして次のやりたいことへ、また走っていきます。サッカーは止めませんがね。
