フィンランドに行きたしと思えども、フィンランドはあまりに遠し…。なむなむ。フィンランド、と言えば、ムーミン、イッタラ、マリメッコ、辺りが上がって来るかもですが、"ムーミン"。は知っているけど、ちゃんとお話しは読んだことあったかしら？ と、ハテナと疑問に思ったのでムーミンの絵本1冊とこちらのガイド本のよーな本を図書館から借りてきました。1994年出版で、この時はまだ作者のトーベ・ヤンソンさん80歳でご存命だったらしいです。そー言えば、2014年の今年は生誕100周年記念！ フィンランド大使館の後援などであちこちでトーベイベントが開催されている模様です。まだ間に合うイベントあるかしら？ ご興味ある方はフィンランド大使館のHPへ→

I would like to go to Finland, but Finland is very far from here... Well, Finland, when you hear the name of this country, what things do you remember? Mumin, iittla, marimekko and so on. About Mumin, I know "Mumin", but I cannot be sure if I read the series of stories. I borrowed the book which was a guidebook for Mumin and the author, Tove Jansson. It was published by Kodabsha in 1994. She was still alive, 80 years old at that time. This year, for her 100th anniversary of birth, many events have been held which supported by Finland Embassy.
