少し前になりますが、2/28に東京にあるUIAインターナショナルの高校2,3年生のみなさんに
三原山をご案内しました。
I guided 11th and 12th-grade students from UIA International School Tokyo to Mt. Mihara on the other day.
40名くらいの参加者だったので、2班に分かれて、もう一班は神田さんが担当しました。
There were about 40 participants, so we divided into two groups.
The other group was led by Mr. Kanda.
とてもいい天気で、三原神社の鳥居と富士山のコラボもバッチリ
It was such a clear day.
We were able to see the Mihara Shrine Torii gate and Mt. Fuji together.
お鉢巡りは舗装されていないので、歩くのは大変そうでしたが
360度の大パノラマにはみな息をのんでいました！
The path around the crater is not paved and challenging to walk on,
but everyone gasped at the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view.
大変な道のりでも苦労の先には絶景が待っています！
Even though the path may seem challenging,
there are magnificent views waiting after the long endeavor!
火口の向こうにも富士山がクッキリ
Mt. Fuji sits vividly beyond the crater.
剣ヶ峰も最高の天気です
We could see the perfect view from Kengamine, the highest peak of the trail.
同じ場所でぐるっと向きを変えて裏砂漠を背景に
Changing direction, we have the Ura-Sabaku desert in the background.
実はこの日、4時間のツアーを予定していましたが、
バスの手配ミスがあり山頂に滞在できるのが3時間のみとなってしまいました。
Actually, on this day, we were supposed to have a four-hour tour,
but there was a misarrangement with the bus,
so we only had three hours to stay on the summit.
当日午後のジェット船で帰るみなさん。
2時間も港で空き時間ができてしまったので、
急遽、わたしたちも港に移動し、希望者を募って岡田港のまち歩きをしました。
The students were departing on the afternoon jet ferry.
They had a two-hour wait at the port.
We hadn't planned to, but we also headed to the port,
and invited anyone interested to join us for a walking tour of the Okata port.
岡田港ではお土産もみんなたくさん買っていました〜
Everyone bought a lot of souvenirs at the port.
くさやTシャツもいい感じ✨
The T-shirt featuring Kusaya, a type of fermented and dried fish, looks nice!
何人かの生徒に何が一番印象に残ったのか聞いてみると
I asked some students what the most fascinating thing about Oshima was.
景色という答えが多かったです。
Most of them said "the view"!
最高の景色を堪能していただけて何よりでした☺️
It was great to see everyone enjoying the magnificent views.
一緒に歩けて、わたしにとっても楽しい思い出になりました。
It became a fun memory for me, too!
