Canada confirms new case of mad cow disease

Canada confirms a new case of mad cow direase Tue,
marking da country's 12th such case
since da disease was discovered there in 2003.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said
no part of da cow's carcass
entered da human food or animal feed feed chains.
The animal is a 6-yr-old cow from Alberta,born after da implementation of Canada's feed ban in 1997.
The natl monitoring program
taqgets cattle most at risk for da disease,
which is also known as bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
