歌舞伎俳優の市川海老蔵の妻で、乳がんで闘病中の小林麻央（34）が10月2日、自身のブログを更新し、夫・海老蔵への感謝の気持ちをつづった。 麻央は前日のブログで、根治治療ではなく、苦痛などを和らげる「QOL（生活の質）のための手術」を受けたことを明かした。一方、海老蔵も自らのブログを更新。「必ず治る。必ず治ると私、バカだから本当に思っているんです」と妻の回復を願う心情を記した。 これを受けて、麻央は2日付のブログで海老蔵への“想い”を明かしている。＜バカみたいにいつも信じきってくれてありがとう。思い出しました。闘病が長くなってきて、皆、心身疲れてきたとき、主人が、私の母に言ったそうです。母から聞きました。『大変なとき、悲しいことにバラバラになってしまう家族もある。でも、僕たちは、一致団結できる家族だと思っている。今、誰かひとりでも、違う方向を向いたら、バランスが崩れてしまう。皆で、同じ方向を向いて、踏ん張りましょう。』と。＞ 家族全員で麻央を支える決意を語った海老蔵に対して、麻央は「いい旦那さんだ。気づいたら、のろけていました。すみません…」と文章を締めくくっている。
