チャップリンとヒトラーは、誕生日がたったの４日違い。
チャップリンが 04/16/1889。
ヒトラーが 04/20/1889。
二人とも世界的に有名になりましたが、
陰と陽、光と闇のごとく、対照的な人生を歩みました。
伝え聞くところによると、
ヒトラーはチャップリンの人気にあやかるために
四角い口髭をはやしたとか。
真偽のほどは確かではないのですが、
まあ、ありえなくない話でもありますね。
チャップリンはトーキー映画時代に突入してからも
サイレント映画を撮り続けていました。サイレント映画のほうが好みだったんでしょうね。
しかし、ヒトラーの暴挙を垣間見、映画化することになったとき、
あれほどこだわっていたサイレント映画ではなく、
トーキー映画に転向したのです。
演説を得意としたヒトラーに対抗するには
トーキー映画しかないと判断したのでしょう。
『独裁者』（The Great Dictator）はチャップリンにとって
初のトーキー映画となりました。
この映画の見どころは、なんといってもラストの演説のシーンです。
初のトーキー映画で、チャップリンの肉声で、
映画を通して、世界中の人々に訴えかけたのです。
時代も、まさにヒトラーがやみくもに猛威をふるい、
第二次世界大戦が開戦し、混乱を極めていたときです。
そんな中、ヒトラーを笑い者にし、自分の言葉で批判するなんて、
どんなに勇気のいることだったのでしょうか。
本物のコメディアンは、権力者を笑い者にし、批判できる能力を持っています。
「王様は裸だ！」と指摘できるのは、昔から道化（fool, clown）だけでした。
シェイクスピアの戯曲でもそれを見ることが出来ますよね。
一般人が権力者を批判すると即牢獄です。本物のコメディアンは fool しても無事でした。
一応ちょっとだけ最後のシーンの背景を言っておくと・・・・・・
チャップリンは、この映画で二役演じています。
ヒトラー的人物、ヒンケルと
ユダヤ人の床屋、チャーリーです。
最後のシーンでは、このユダヤ人の床屋さん、
ヒンケルの側近たちにヒンケルだと間違われてしまったのです。似てるからね。
「いや、違うし。オレ、ユダヤ人だし。」
と言ったら、まあヤバいことになるのは目に見えているので、
ヒンケルのふりをしますが、
なんと、多くの兵士の前でスピーチをしなくてはいけないはめに！
と言うことで、ユダヤ人の床屋、チャーリーは皆の前で演説をしました・・・。
この映画が作られてから７０年たった今でも、
全く色褪せていない。現代の私たちにも訴えかけてくるメッセージです。
そうそう、
当時、日本はドイツと同盟を組んでいたので、
当然日本での公開は禁止されていました。
日本で公開できるようになったのは、映画が製作された２０年後
１９６０年のことでした。
gentile: （ユダヤ人にとっての）異邦人 → キリスト教徒
この映画は1939年1月1日から制作が開始され、
1939年9月9日～1940年10月2日まで撮影が行われました。
プレミア公開が1940年10月15日でした。
なぜ年号にこだわったかというと・・・・・・
①もうまさにヒトラーが勢力を拡大させている時期
であることの再確認したかったから。
１９３８年３月：オーストリア併合
１９３９年３月：チェコスロバキア併合
１９３９年９月１日：ポーランド侵攻

１９３９年９月３日：第二次世界大戦開戦
このように、ヒトラーがポーランド侵攻し、
第二次世界大戦への拡大していった１９３９年９月に
チャップリンはこの映画『独裁者』の撮影を開始したのです。
②アメリカ国内で、黒人が公民権を得たのは1963年。
60年代ですら、南部ではレストランや公共の乗り物に黒人専用の席があるなど、
まだまだバリバリ黒人差別が激しかったのです。
なので、「黒人を助けたい」というこのセリフは、
現在以上に重みのある勇気ある言葉だということを伝えたかったのです。

人は美しく自由に生きられるはずなのに、私たちは道を失ってしまった。貪欲が人の魂を毒し、憎しみをこめて世界をバリケードで封鎖してしまったのだ。貪欲が私たちを悲劇と殺戮へと軍隊歩調で追いやったのだ。私たち人間はスピードを開発してきたが、自分自身を閉じ込める結果となってしまった。
goose-stepped: ひざを曲げずに脚を高く上げる行進歩調のこと。第二次世界大戦中のドイツ兵の行進に見られた。また皆さんもご存知のように今も、北朝鮮の軍隊がこの goose-stepped をやっています。
動詞として使う場合、自動詞（vi）の使用例しか
辞書では掲載されていないのですが、
ここでは他動詞（vt）として使われていますね。
まあ、intoは変化を表す前置詞、ということを考えると、
「私たち」を「悲劇と殺戮」へと追いやった、ということなのでしょうね。

「もっと権力が欲しい」「もっと広大な土地が欲しい」「もっと・・・」とか、
「ここは私の土地だ。入ってくるな。」「そこも私の土地だ」というように、
飽くなき欲が諸悪の根源だ、ということを言いたいのですね。

私たち人間はスピードを開発してきたが、
自分自身を閉じ込める結果となってしまった。
例えば、産業革命により、物を生産するスピードは格段に速くなっていきました。
ベルドコンベアーかなんかでね、大量生産すると、
あっという間に物が出来ちゃう。
一つ一つ丁寧に、一人で作っていたころに比べれば、
時間が随分かからないですむ。
でも。
そのために、人間は孤独になってしまったのではないでしょうか。
人間は単なる大きな機械の一部。部品になってしまった。
電車に乗って通勤すると、
皆が黙々と電車に乗り込んだり、
エスカレーターを歩いていたり、
マニュアルに書かれている言葉で（自分の考えた言葉でなく）
駅員がアナウンスしている姿を見かけたりします。
そこには人間同士の心の触れ合いがありません。
現代社会はスピードを開発したおかげで「効率」は良くなったのかもしれませんが、
より孤独を感じてしまうような環境に変えてしまった、と言えるかもしれません。
Hannah, can you hear me? Wherever you are, look up Hannah. The clouds are lifting! The sun is breaking through! We are coming out of the darkness into the light. We are coming into a new world - a kindlier world, where men will rise above their hate, their greed and their brutality. Look up, Hannah!
ハンナ、聴こえるかい？君がどこへいようと、ほら見上げてごらん、ハンナ。雲が消えて、太陽の光が差し込んできただろう？僕たちは暗闇から抜け出て、光のなかへいくんだ。新しい世界に。心やさしい世界に。憎しみも強欲も残忍もないそんな世界に。だから見上げてごらん、ハンナ。
ハンナとは、映画のなかでは、床屋のユダヤ人の恋人のことです。
このヒロイン役のハンナの名前ですが、
チャップリンの母親の名前もハンナでした。
この映画撮影は１９３９年から開始されましたが、
この１０年前、１９２９年にチャップリンの最愛の母は亡くなりました。

人間の魂には翼が与えられていたんだ。そしてついに人間は飛び始めたんだよ。虹に向かって。希望のに向かって。未来に向かって。輝かしい未来に向かって。君や僕、みんながそこで暮らすんだ。だから見上げてごらん、ハンナ、見上げてごらんよ。
ああ、もうひとつだけ付け加えさせてください。
この演説の最初と最後に流れる音楽は
ヒトラーが愛したワーグナーの『ローエングリン序曲』です。
この映画のなかで、ヒトラー的人物ヒンケルが
地球儀の風船で遊ぶシーンでも、この曲が使われているんです。
ヒトラーが地球をもてあそんでいることを暗示するシーンのあと、
最後の演説で同じ曲を使用したことに、
チャップリンの思いがこめられているような気がします。
つまり、美しき地球＝世界を、独裁者の手ではなく民衆の手に返そう、という思い。

きのうの Charlie Chaplin のなかの The Gospel of Luke chap.17 をちょっと眺めてみましょう。

チャップリンのおはなし
この映画は、1940年上映のチャップリンの映画 「独裁者」 で、ヒットラー的な独裁者のダブル役の床屋が、兵士たちの前で演説をするはめになるシーンに、2012年今現在起こっているいろんなニュースや映画の映像を加えられたものです。

東日本震災のニュース．．． 若者たちが救援物を担ぎ、被災地に向かって歩く映像。 女の子が兄弟も両親も行方不明だと泣く映像も、含まれています。
そしてまた、７０年以上前、第二次世界大戦真っ只中にチャップリン自身によって書かれた、今の時代に生きる私達の心にふれるスピーチのオリジナルです。
そのビデオを作った人は、“The Best Speech Ever Made” 「史上最高のスピーチ」と題し、世界の人達にこのメッセージを伝えてほしいと、いろんな言葉のサブタイトルのリンクのリストを載せています。

"Three more years ... it becomes impossible to live in Japan → March 31, 2015"

"あと3年・・・日本に住めなくなる日 →2015年3月31日"
武田邦彦 中部大学教授（所属：総合工学研究所）
内閣府原子力委員会専門委員、文部科学省科学技術審議会専門委員
ある読者の方が線量計を持っておられて、それを使って毎日、定点観測を続け、その結果をお送りいただいた。測定は毎日、朝は職場、夕はご自宅玄関前、夜は自宅居間就寝前 の3回の測定を標準として、その平均値を整理しておられます。場所は三重県です。
それをグラフにプロットしてご自宅付近の放射線量の変化を見ておられます。科学的に正確でデータもシッカリして、これこそ「被曝の問題を日本人一人一人で取り組み、より安全な生活を目指そう」という活動のなかですばらしいものと思います。
データの詳細は別にして、昨年の9月頃より三重県の放射線量はわずかならが上がっていて、一次方程式(y=ax+b)で書けば、今年の1月から3月までの平均がb（つまりおおよその最初の状態）が毎時0.10マイクルシーベルト、a（変化）が0.0004（マイクロシーベルト/日）です。
もちろんデータは個人が測定したもので、ある場所に限定されますし、また最小自乗法でaやbをだされていますが、それも科学的には問題はありません。
これから計算しますと、若干の内部被曝なども加味して、三重県の外部からの被曝が1年5ミリになるのは、2012年1月から3年4ヶ月後となります。つまり、2015年4月1日になると、三重県には住めなくなるという計算結果です。

「人を脅すようなことを言うな！」というおじさんの声が聞こえてきそうですが、脅したりだましたりしている訳ではありません。戦争で言えば、ミサイルが飛んできたとか、何時に日本列島に到着するという計算をして、その結果をそのままお伝えしているだけです。
NHKは「台風の進路、いつ頃台風が来るか」を放送しますが、それと同じです。台風より緊急性が高いかも知れませんし、台風の進路予想より確実性も高いかも知れません。
1年5ミリというと成人男子でも白血病になったら「労災」が適応される線量です。つまり、日本国は「1年5ミリの被曝を受けたら、白血病になる」と認定してきたのです。もちろん、現在の日本政府は知らない顔をするでしょうが、これは厳然とした事実なのです。また電力会社の従業員も1990年ぐらいから1年1ミリに自主規制してきているのですから、1年5ミリの場所に子供も一緒に住むわけにはいきません。
また、三重県はほぼ日本の平均的な線量率ですから、ほぼ日本に住めなくなることを意味しています。このブログでも再三、書いてきましたし、国会の委員会でも参考人で述べましたが、「福島の除染、汚染された野菜、瓦礫の運搬移動」を続けていると、日本には住めなくなります。
福島原発から漏れた量が80京ベクレルであること、これは日本に拡散したら日本が住めなくなる数字であることを認識し、政府、自治体、電力は本腰になって日本列島を汚染されないように全力で取り組んでください。

「私は自分が立ち入る放射線管理区域をできる限りきれいにしてあります。もちろん、放射線管理区域の一部の場所では、放射能があるために被曝が避けられない場所もありますけれども、でもほとんどの場所というのはきれいです。私がそこの床に寝たところで、私の体が汚れないというぐらいにはきれいしてあるのです。ところが、福島原子力発電所の事故で、すでに何万平方キロメートルという広さの大地が放射能で汚れてしまっている。福島県は本当にすごい汚染になっているわけですね。そこで未だに人びとが生活をしているし、子どもたちも生きているし、中には泥んこになって遊んでいる子どもたちだっているんだと思います。そういうところの人たちが被曝をしたくないと思うのであれば、彼らが生きているごく普通の生活をしている場所から、私が管理している京都大学原子炉実験所の放射線管理区域に逃げ込んで来れば、被曝が少なくて済むという、そういう状態なんです。もう本当に信じることができないようなひどいことが今起きているのです」
「日本の国がまともな国ではないと、ずっと前から思ってきましたけれども、これほどひどかったのかというのは、今になって思います。事故を起こしてしまって、人びとをそのまま被曝地に放置するなんていうことが、どうしてできるのか私には未だにわからないし、再稼働させるなんて言い出すわけですよね。おまけに原発を他国に輸出するなんていうことまで言い出す国なわけで、本当にどういう国なのか理解を越えるほどに驚いています」
「ウラン自身が毒物ですけれども、その毒物を核分裂させてしまうと十億倍の毒物に膨れ上がるのですね。その毒というのを私たち人類はなんとか無毒化できないかと研究してきたわけですけれども、それができないのです。そうなったら仕方がないから、どこかに隔離しようということになっているわけですが、隔離して核分裂生成物が元々のウランの放射能の量になるまでには百万年かかるといっているわけで、そんなことできる道理がないのです。ですから、私たちはたかが電気のために原子力なんていってきましたけれども、そうやることで無毒化できない毒物を日夜つくり続けて、私たちの子ども、孫、そしてその子ども、孫と、人類からすれば永遠という期間にわたって、私たちの享楽的な生活のツケを残すということをやろうとしているのです。それだけ考えても、こんなものはやってはいけないと気がつかなければいけないと思います。ヒトのいのちをどう考えているのですか」

米上院エネルギー委員会に所属するワイデン議員は、同様の書簡をスティーブン・チュー・米エネルギー庁長官やヒラリー・クリントン国務長官、米原子力規制委員会のグレゴリー・ヤツコ委員長にも同日付けで送ったと言及。米有力議員による警鐘は、国際的にも大きな注目を集めることになりそうだ。
ワイデン議員が特に問題視しているのが、1300体を上回る使用済み核燃料が存在する4号機の核燃料プール。ホームページで同議員は、再び大きな地震が起きた場合に重大事態になる可能性があるとしている。

◇月曜日の毎日新聞は、以下のように報道している。
「4号機建屋の貯蔵プールには、合計1535本の核燃料棒が収められており、その重量は460トンになる。
原子炉建屋は7階の構造で、それ自体が大きな損傷を受けおり、貯蔵プールのある3階、4階部分はむき出しの状態になっている。
すでに屋根が吹き飛ばされている。
貯蔵プールが壊れて水がない状態になれば、中にある核燃料が過熱して爆発を起こし、大量の放射性物質が広い範囲に拡散してしまうだろう。
◇米国原子力規制委員会(NRC)およびフランスの核エネルギー会社アレヴァは、ともにこの危険について警告している。
福島第一原発・事故調査委員会が2月に発表した報告の中では、『4号機の貯蔵プールは、核災害の並行的、連鎖的危機において、明らかに“弱いつながり”があることが示されている』と述べられている。

燃料棒の取出しには、少なくとも3年はかかるでしょう。
そんなに長く、この構造が保たれるでしょうか？
◇テレビ朝日は、先月の放送で、「もし、地震や漏水などによって4号機のプールにヒビ割れができれば、そのときは東京は終わりになるだろう」と言っています。

「4号機の貯蔵プール、これはプールも含めて建屋全体が傾いています。
プールの床が抜けたり、ひっくり返ったりしないように、プールの真下にスクリュー・ジャッキをあてて、下から支えられている。
もし、冷却水が失われれば、火災が発生するまで、わずか数時間の猶予しかないだろう。
そうすれば、放射性物質は環境中に放出され、セシウム137の100％が放出されるかもしれない」。

そして、それ以降、東電問題、（形式的に）福島第一原発事故収束に当たったのが、仙谷由人と枝野幸男、細野豪志の3人だったのです。
細野豪志は、松本剛明、原口一博と並んで「民主党のゴマスリ三人衆」と週刊誌に揶揄されるほど世渡り上手。
次は仙谷と、親分がコロコロ代わっても、うまく立ち回っていけるのです。
彼らの「被災者への補償額を減らしたい」という利害と、「住民から徴収する住民税、国からの地方交付税を減らしたくない」という福島県知事の利害とが一致し、福島の住人たちの自主避難を阻み、子どもたちを被曝させたままにしているのです。
彼らは、間違いなく犯罪者であり、将来の大量殺人者であることは世界中のメディアが書きたてていることです。
さて、国立大学で土木工学を学んだ馬淵議員は、菅直人に首相補佐官に任命され、早い段階から4号機の構造的脆弱性を危惧していました。

彼が、引き続き福島第一原発事故収束に当たっていたら、今頃、事態は大きく変わっていたでしょう。

今、世界的に大きな世論が起こりつつあります。
それは、本当に人類のDNAに関わることです。
日本の大マスコミは、またまた殆ど、報道しません。
このままでは、彼ら自身も、そして彼らの家族も致命的な被曝に晒すことになるというのに、まったく頭の中がお花畑な人々です。

そして、東電の壊れかけたソロバンではじき出したようなインチキ耐震偽装ではなく、科学的で正確な構造評価を与え、もっとも有効な工程表を作るべきです。
あらゆる方面で特措法を活用し、万一の事態が起こった場合に備えて、自主避難の時間さえない原発立地周辺の人々を強制的に避難させるべきです。
福島の住民の意向を一人一人斟酌していたら間に合わなくなるでしょう。
まず、いのち、食べ物の安全確保が何より先決です。
