Everyone of many foreigner reporters gathers, and I thank. I'll apologize to Kenji's causing everyone of Japan people and Japanese Government and everyone of foreign countries trouble very much more than a heart.

These 3 days were being sad and were crying for me. It can't be expressed.

Kenji was a kind child from childish time.

Kenji was saying usual "He'd like to rescue the children's life of the front.".

War report was being done at the neutral viewpoint.

Everyone of Islamic nation and Kenji aren't an enemy of Islamic nation. Please disengage.

The country where I promised 9 articles of constitution that Japan didn't fight a war. I'm not fighting a war for 70 years.

Japan was keeping a friendship, not an enemy of Islamic various countries.

Japan is the only nation that was the victim of atomic bombs. Hundreds of thousands of people died of atomic bombing to Hiroshima by the United States and Nagasaki.

ジャーナリストの後藤健二さん（４７）の母・石堂順子さんが２３日、日本外国特派員協会（東京都千代田区）での記者会見の冒頭に、コメントを発表した。

　コメント全文は以下の通り。

　私は石堂順子と申します。

　ジャーナリスト後藤健二の実の母親です。

　多くの外国人記者の皆さんにお集まりいただき、感謝します。日本国民・日本政府の皆さん、諸外国の皆さんに健二が大変ご迷惑をおかけしていることに心よりお詫びします。

　私はこの３日間、ただただ、悲しくて泣いていました。表現できません。

　健二は幼い頃から心の優しい子でした。

　健二はいつも「戦地の子どもたちの命を救いたい」と言っていました。

　中立な立場で戦争報道をしてきました。

　イスラム国の皆さん、健二はイスラム国の敵ではありません。解放して下さい。

　日本は戦争をしないと憲法９条に誓った国です。７０年間戦争をしていません。

　日本はイスラム教諸国の敵ではなく、友好関係を保ってきました。

　日本は唯一の被爆国です。アメリカによる広島と長崎への原爆投下で数十万人が亡くなりました。

　あと残された時間はわずかです。日本政府の皆さん、健二の命を救って下さい。
