今週末は、数十年に一度の強烈な寒波に注意が必要となる。
記録的な寒波は、西日本を中心に流れ込み、特に24日は、九州や四国、中国の平地でも、大雪となる見込み。
24日午前6時までに予想される降雪量は、いずれも多いところで、北陸・中国地方で40cm、東北・東海・近畿・九州北部で30cm。
四国・九州南部で、15~20cmなどとなっている。
22日は、西日本の各地で、タイヤにチェーンを巻くなど、雪に備える人たちの姿が見られた。
また沖縄でも、24日午後は、雨に雪が交じる可能性があり、降雪となれば、1977年以来、39年ぶりとなる。
関東も、23日夕方には、広い範囲で雪が降る見込みで、全日空では、羽田空港を発着する国内線22便の欠航が決まっている。
