A fast-moving wave of cyber attacks that swept the globe Friday targeted German rail operator Deutsche Bahn.

The software attacks exploited a flaw exposed in documents leaked from the US National Security Agency and use a technique known as ransomware that locks users' files unless they pay the attackers a designated sum in the virtual currency Bitcoin, reports news agency AFP.

The ransomware demands payment of 275 euros in Bitcoin within three days or the price is doubled, and if none is received in seven days, the files will be deleted, according to a screen message.

Affected by the onslaught were computer networks at hospitals in Britain, Russia's interior ministry, the Spanish telecom giant Telefonica and the US delivery firm FedEx, as well as organisations in Sweden.

The US Department of Homeland Security's computer emergency response team said it was aware of ransomware infections "in several countries around the world."

Jakub Kroustek of the security firm Avast said in a blog post update around 2000 GMT, "We are now seeing more than 75,000 detections... in 99 countries."

Germany's Deutsche Bahn (DB) computers were also impacted, with the company reporting on Saturday morning that display panels in the stations were affected.

Deutsche Bahn information screens and ticket machines were also hit, reports AFP.

Travellers tweeted pictures of hijacked departure boards showing the ransom demand instead of train times. But DB insisted that trains were running as normal.



On Saturday, a cyber security researcher told AFP he had accidentally discovered a "kill switch" that can prevent the spread of the ransomware.

The researcher, tweeting as @MalwareTechBlog, said the discovery was accidental, but that registering a domain name used by the malware stops it from spreading. Computers already affected will not be helped by the solution.

However @MalwareTechBlog warned that the "crisis isn't over" as those behind it "can always change the code and try again."

The ransomware's name is WCry, but analysts were also using variants such as WannaCry.

"It's unequivocally scary," said John Dickson of the Denim Group, a US security consultancy.

Dickson said the malware itself, which exploits a flaw in Windows, was not new but that adding the ransomware "payload" made it especially dangerous.

"I'm watching how far this propagates and when governments get involved," he said.

Microsoft released a patch to protect against vulnerability to the ransomware in March, but many systems may not have been updated.

アイルランド： サマータイムは取り締まり強化

Under Operation Irene, which was trialled last year, gardaí will be dispatched to areas which have seen anti-social behaviour during warm weather.

Portmarnock beach, Howth, and areas of the inner city will all be patrolled by uniformed officers.

A number of incidents in the last two years culminated in Garda callouts to beaches and parks.

Dublin City Council, in partnership with senior garda members, have decided that it would be in their best interests to continue the operation which ran last year from 1 June to the end of August.

According to gardaí: “Operation Irene is targeted to combat under-age alcohol consumption and consumption of alcohol in a public place.

There have been violent scenes at some of Ireland's beaches in recent years.

He told TheJournal.ie: “This really helped things last year so we’re looking to get it done again. Everyone wants to use communal facilities during the good weather. The last thing families need to see is drunk teenagers getting sick and fighting each other. It’s not on.

“What this operation is doing is looking to tackle those people who use the good weather as an excuse to get out of their mind drunk in public places. There needs to be a point where we say ‘enough is enough’.

“You cannot have a situation whereby people are afraid to go for a walk in the evening because they fear that there will be a big gang of drunk children hassling them.”

かなり抜粋しましたが、陽気も良くなるサマーシーズンにおいては、一部の者が無軌道な行動に出やすいのかも知れません。　昨年同様のアイリーン作戦を行うことでそれらを阻止しようとしているようです。

目に見える悪事や違法行為を取り締まりしたり、制服警官によるパトロールで抑止効果を期待することもいいのかも知れませんね。

一方、日本では、言論の抑圧にもつながりかねない問題の ”共謀罪” に関する法律、これはその恣意性からも大きな問題ありと言うことでしょう。　言論の自由を奪うことにつながりかねないこうした法整備は、独裁に陥る（いや、それを目的としている、全体の流れから）恐れがあるので、許してはなりません。

各種報道機関は、問題ありとの最大限のアピールをすべきではないでしょうか。　これ以上の暴政を許してはなりません。

ドイツ： North-Rhine Westphalia（ＮＲＷ州）は今

２０１７年５月１３日（Sat.） 世界の各地で大規模（？）なサイバー攻撃が行われていると各国が報じています。　それはさておき、ドイツで注目の州議会選挙が５月１４日、ＮＲＷ州で行われます。　これは、この９月に行われる連邦議会選挙を占うものと評されているのです。　（　ニュースソース：　THE LOCAL de　５月１０日発　）

On Sunday voters in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) will go to the polls to choose a new state parliament. The state is still struggling with deindustrialization, as this map shows.
この日曜日（注：　５月１４日）にＮＲＷ州で行われる選挙で新しい州議会が選択されることになります。　ＮＲＷ州は現在尚、産業の空洞化にもがいているのです、このグラフが示すように・・・。

A hundred years ago the region that is now NRW was the industrial heartland of Germany. Even after the Second World War, mining in the Ruhr region played an important part in putting a defeated Germany back on its feet.

But decline of the coal industry since the 1960s has had a damaging effect on the region's economy, leaving it with some of the highest unemployment and crime rates in the country.

Minister President Hannelore Kraft, a Social Democrat, has invested heavily in education since taking power in 2010. But a public debt of €179.6 billion lays bare the challenge that she or rival Armin Laschet of the Christian Democrats will face in the next legislative period.

The graphic above shows that NRW’s public debt is three times as high as that of Lower Saxony, which has the second highest debt in the country.

But the picture is not so gloomy when one looks at public debt per inhabitant. The city states of Berlin, Hamburg and Bremen all have higher debts per person than Germany's most populous state, as does the small southwestern state of Saarland.

But NRW’s €13,285 of debt per head is still far higher than Baden-Württemberg’s €5,685.

On the plus side, NRW announced in January that last year it took on no new public debts for the first time since 1972.

ＮＲＷ州の州都はドュッセルドルフで、大都市のケルンも含まれており、私が２０１３年に滞在した田舎町ラーデンもあるのです。　また、旧西ドイツの首都だったボンも含まれていて、ドイツ最大の州とも言えます。　それにしても、公的債務が断トツ・・・、まァ、好きでそうなったわけではないでしょうが、時間はかかっても債務の解消に向うといいですね。

日本の各自治体の財政状況はどうなんでしょうか・・・。

さて、話は変わりますが、今朝の地元の新聞（ブロック紙）に、ＧＭ（ Genetically modified ）、つまり、遺伝子組み換え食材の表示義務などの現状を伝える記事が大きく出ていました。　実際には多くのＧＭＯ（ＧＭＦ）が日本には輸入されてきているにも関わらず、商品（食材）にその使用・含有の表示を見かけることは皆無に等しい状況ではないでしょうか。　不思議ですよね。

以前、飲料メーカーにＧＭＯの使用・不使用を直接尋ねたことがありますが、日本の法律に基づいて表示している・・・との回答であって、ＧＭＯを使っているかどうかの点には答えてくれませんでした。　不誠実さを感じたことを今でも記憶しています。

さて、記事はそうした現状に問題を投げかけるものでもありましたが、ＧＭには、セットで使用されることになる除草剤も大きな問題であって、そこに含まれる発がん性の問題視されているグリホサートが、結果として私達の体内に既に取り込まれてしまっている恐れが高いのです。　こちらも問題なのであって、当ブログの２０１６年９月２２日や９月２３日の内容でもＵＰしています。

紙面が足らなかった（？）かも知れませんが、単なるＧＭの表示問題だけでなく、本質的な問題はグリホサートやネオニコチノイド（殺虫剤成分）などにあって、これらの使用を制限することが急務である・・・とするＥＵでの動きも watch し、そうしたことも大々的に報道し、真のオピニオン・リーダーであって欲しいと願うのです、Ｃ新聞社さん！！

臨時： 最近の報道内容について

２０１７年５月１２日（Fri.） 実に様々な事件や問題が発生していますが、中には不可思議に感じさせるものもあります。　ドイツが報道する北朝鮮に関わる内容の一部を先ずは転載します。　（　ニュースソース：　ＤＷ－ＤＥ　５月１１日発　）

北朝鮮危機：　この地域で軍事力が強いのはどこか？

北朝鮮の好戦的な態度による朝鮮半島における緊張は高いレベルが続いており、周辺でのイライラは増加しています。　ＤＷとしてのこのエリアにおける軍事力を比較してみました。

本文の大半を割愛します。上の比較表が参考になるのではないでしょうか。　こうした分析は日本国内で報道されているのでしょうか？

さて、北朝鮮を巡る話題を掘り下げようとしているのではありません。　そもそも安倍政権になってから、物議を醸す法案が無理やり成立（強行採決）されてきています。　特定秘密保護法や安保法制などが記憶に新しいのですが、他にも十分な審議を経ていないものが多くあり、民主的な国会運営とは全く言えません。　たまたま、選挙の結果で議員数が多くなった（過半数）のであり、国民の総意であるとは言い難く、暴挙とも言えます。

そして、安倍政権の本質を露呈している森友問題（さらには、今治市の件なども）以降、北朝鮮問題への過度・過敏な反応やその報道、物議を醸し続けている共謀罪の審議入り、さらには、唐突とも言える改憲問題への発言・・・。　総じて、本質問題を隠すための誘導作戦と思えます。

森友問題は｢忖度｣があったとかなかったとかは議論の対象ではなく、直接・間接に人事権または評価の権限を有するサイドに対しては、人情として忖度せざるを得ないことであり、あったことは明々白々なのです。　さらに、追及すべきは８億円も便宜を図った経緯であり、当該の近畿財務局への徹底調査はどうなっているのでしょうか。　そして、例の寄付金のことは籠池側が捏造しているとは考え難いことであり、総理婦人の関与も明白と思われるのです。

こうした事実解明を闇に葬るため、報道の関心・国民の関心を遠ざけるために、他の喫緊の問題を打ち出す・・・。　この手法が続いているように思えてなりません。

共謀罪についても、何故今なのか？　森友問題がクリアになっていないにも拘らず・・・です。　それは、関心をそらすためとしか考えられません。　そして、共謀罪が問題視され始めると、今度は唐突に改憲論を持ち出して、さらに関心をそらす・・・。　報道の中心が新たな話題に向っている最中に、強行採決。　後は、｢丁寧に説明して行きます｣とお決まりの文句で逃げ切る。

こんなやり方は民主主義のかけらもないのと同然で、数の力による暴政そのものであり、独裁そのものと変わりはないのです。

様々な意見が衝突し合うことは当然で、意見調整しながら、時間をかけてでもまとめて行く必要があるのです。　以前にも述べているので繰り返しになってしまいますが、これほど政治不信に陥った時代は他にありません。　安倍政治は誤りだらけ、自民党もこのままでは終りを迎えることになるでしょう。　兎に角、聞くこと見ることイライラします。

安倍の言葉には常に裏があるのです。　このままではいつか国民が大後悔することになります、なるでしょう。

デンマーク： オーガニックへの要求高まる

Danes are voting through their wallets and sending a clear signal that they want a food production system more in harmony with nature and with fewer chemicals being used.

Figures just released from Danmarks Statistik show that sales of organic food increased by 15 percent during 2016. In other words, every Dane consumed organic food worth 2,000 kroner last year.

It is still items such as milk, cheese and eggs that are the most popular, but sales of organic vegetables increased by 26 percent.

Now, organic foods count for 9.6 percent of total food sales in Denmark.

“The figures show clearly that Danes are now ready for even more organic food. Supermarkets have been competing with each other to have the broadest range of organic foods,” explained Kirsten Lund Jensen, the head of the organic section at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council.

In total, 334,900 tonnes of organic foodstuffs with a value of 8 billion kroner were sold in 2016. Of this, milk, cheese and eggs accounted for almost half.

食の安全や健康意識への高まり、無農薬・減農薬、非化学肥料などに基づく食材への要求、遺伝子組み換え食品への危惧、こうした背景には市民の知識の高まりも大きく影響しているのではないでしょうか。　何が大切なのか、何を優先させるべきかを一人一人が認識を高めている、より成熟した社会構築に向っているように感じます、デンマークは。

翻って日本はどうでしょうか、スーパーによってはオーガニック食材を明示しているお店もありますが、そうでない店も。　そもそも、取扱い品目も少ないと言うのが現実でしょう・・・。　　我が家はオーガニック食材を探すように務めています。
