食品売り場に行ったら「おいしい牛乳」のパッケージが気になっていました。
牛乳が飲めない体質ですが、ある日買い求めました。
私にも飲めるのか？パーケージのデザインに惹かれて試したくなりました。
最近はミルクティやカフェオーレに入れて飲めるようになりました。
気の持ち方を変えてくれた「おいしい牛乳」は縄文人のアイディアだったことを
後で知りました。
牛乳嫌いな人間が買ってしまうほど気になるデザインされた、佐藤卓さんの
縄文頭脳を再度見直してみました。
「デザインをしないデザインする。“おいしい牛乳”
デザインやって37年です。現代社会は目の前のもの全部
デザインで生活成り立っています。
その生活を支える仕事をやって来ました。
ある日小林先生の言葉にショツキングな言葉があって、本読み
ましたら一発で分かりました。目からウロコでした。
デザインは、モダンデザインが近代の歴史から100年、元が
始まって今があります。
ところが縄文は1万年以上続いた、たった100年のモダンデザイン
をくつがえしてくれるキィワードがありました。
ショツクでした。小林先生になんのツテも無いのに、押しかけ
ました。
何処に行けば会えるのか？
週に一回夕方いらっしゃるという時間を見つけました。
“ピンポーン“ドアの🚪インターホーン。
小林先生のお話聞きに行き、今私は62才、52才過ぎの自分を
動かしてくれる方は、そうはいない。
小林先生はお酒飲んでいらして、僕の話よく聞いて貰えなかった。
ご挨拶だけで、半端ないと(笑)
国立科学館デザインしました。
国立博物館で古い骨見に行きました。江戸時代、鎌倉時代、、、
と縄文人の骨見たとき、感動でした。
絶句しました！
デザインは間でつなぐもの。
体をデザインして、仕事で人をつなげないかと、人の役に立てない
かと思いました。
縄文人の骨の写真を芸術的に撮り展覧会しました。
穴が空いた頭蓋骨💀と歯撮りました。硬いもの食べていたようで、
歯はすり減っていました。
お金が発生するとおかしくなる世の中で、お金出してでもやりたい。
縄文人展やりたかった！。
一人一人の縄文人の奥深さなども含めて全部やりました。
デザインは可愛いとかお洒落とかイメージ持っていますが、「おいしい
牛乳」は、酪農して子供作る状態にして、ミルク出す。
中身の牛乳と、多くの人をつなぐ、しぼりたてで中身をパツクに見る、
外側で味を伝える。
何となく売れそうとか 中味を表す時どういう形にするといいかとか。
縄文の火焔土器を作るときに、何か伝えるべき何かがあって作ったのか？
どうやったらデザインが売れるか？
それを使う人と送る人をやるのがデザインです。
縄文土器は器です。機能も持って用を足してくれる、デザインもあります。
気になったのは4つの突起です。突起は無用、邪魔者をあえて付けるのが
縄文、スッキリしたものなど、無駄なものない。
牛乳は多くの人に買って貰わなければならない、小林先生の話に”目から
ウロコ“縄文の器の話に。
持ちやすく、入れやすく、使い勝手が良いと考えるのが、モダンデザイン
の考え方です。
でも縄文は長い期間逆を行った。今と１０、０００年の長さとの違いを
思いました。
世界のポィントは縄文世界にあり！
Taku Sato , “My design is not designed like “delicious milk”. It’s been 37 years
since I started designing. In modern societies, everything in our lives are consisted of design.
My job can support our lives.
The other day, I met shocking words by Mr. Kobayashi. I understood in a moment after
reading his book. It was eye-opening experience for me.
The modern designs at this time started about 100 years ago.
However, Jomon-era has continued more than 10 thousand years. There were keywords
that can turn upside down.
I was so shocked that I visited him despite of no connection with him.
I didn’t even know where to see him.
Once a week at evening, he was at home.
I pushed the buzzer.
Only few persons can motivate me after 52-year-old.
Mr. Kobayashi was taking alcohol and did not listen to my story so much.
He said my greeting is already awesome.
I designed National Museum of Nature and Science.
I saw old bones there; those of Edo-era, Kamakura-era, and Jomon-era!
It was amazing. I was at a loss for words!
Designs are connected with intervals.
I thought about designing bodies, connecting and helping people by my job.
I took artistic pictures of bones of Jomon people, and then opened an exhibition.
I took pictures of skull with a hole and teeth. The teeth were worn down
so Jomon people seemed to eat hard foods.
In this society, money often change things wrong. Even though, I wanted to
realize the exhibition of Jomon people!
I did all things such as deepness of individuals.
People often describe the design as cute or stylish. However, as “delicious milk”,
we provide milk from cows that can have calves.
We connect many people with milk with packages associated with fresh milk.
we tell taste by the package.
It seems to make a big sale without reason, or how it should be shaped to express
its contents.
When Jomon people made fire-shaped-pots, did they have something to express?
How can I sell this design?
Being user and sender, it’s a design.
Jomon clay pots are containers. They have functions, can get things done, and have a design.
What I was noticed was four outshoots. The outshoots are needless. But Jomon people
dare to attach those disturbances.
Milk must be bought by various people. I learned so much from what Mr. Kobayashi told about Jomon clay pots.
In the way of thinking of modern design, something easy to hold, easy to put things, and functional are the best.
But, Jomon does the opposite for a long time. It’s the difference between now and 10。０００years.
Jomon had taken the point in the world.
