先週、ご案内したフランスからお越しのお客様のツアーの2日目のご報告です。
Here is the report for the second day of the tour for our guests from France,
whom I introduced to you last week.
1日目からお客様が富士山を見たいとおっしゃっていて、
晴れれば伊豆大島から見えるということをご存じなかったのですが、
初日は山を登っても雲で覆われていて、見えず...
From the first day, the guests expressed their desire to see Mount Fuji.
However, on the first day, even after climbing the mountain,
it was covered in clouds, so we couldn't see it...
2日目の朝、かろうじて山のてっぺんだけ見えていたので、一番にサンセットパームラインへ
ご案内しました。
On the morning of the second day, although it was still covered in clouds,
we could just barely see the tip of the mountain,
so I took them to Sunset Palm Line first thing.
雲に覆われているのですが...
However, it was covered in clouds...
どこに見えているかわかりますか？
Can you tell where it is?
こんなかろうじて見える富士山でも、喜んでくれ、
「わたしたちにとってはFujiは日本の象徴」と言って何度も写真を撮っていらっしゃいました。
Even with just barely seeing Mount Fuji,
they were delighted and said,
"For us, Fuji is a symbol of Japan."
and took many photos.
しばらく海をながめていると、ジェット船がすれ違う光景が！
While we spent some time looking out at the sea,
we saw jet ferries passing each other!
島に住んでいても、ちょうどいいタイミングで見ることは少ないので、
なんだか嬉しかったです！
Even though I live on the island,
it's rare to see them passing at just the right moment,
so I felt quite happy!
2日目は島を一周ぐるっと巡りコースで、まずは、地層大切断面へ！
On the second day, we circled around the island on a course,
starting with the geological cross-section!
フランスのお客様でバームクーヘンはわかっていただけました😉
Our French guests understood Baumkuchen!
そして、波浮港では、見晴台に寄ってから、みなとや旅館に向かいました。
3階建の木造の建物に関心を示されていました。
And then, at Habu Port, after stopping by the observation deck,
we headed to Minatoya Ryokan.
They showed interest in the three-story wooden building.
靴を脱いで中に入って、和の雰囲気あふれる旅館を歩き、
Taking off our shoes, we walked through the ryokan
filled with a traditional Japanese atmosphere.
最後は、記帳もしてくださいました〜❣️
She also signed the guestbook!
こちら、旧甚の丸邸のお庭にある宮川哲夫氏の詩の石碑。
味わいのある字体の上、詩の意味も「公園に関すること」くらいしか説明できなかったので、
お客様はgoogleの翻訳機能を使って、詩の解読を試めしていましたが...
やはり意味はわからなかったそうです。
This is a stone monument of Tetsuo Miyagawa's poem
in the garden of the former Jin-no-maru residence.
The font is quite charming,
but since I could only explain the meaning of the poem as being "about the park,"
the guests tried to grasp it using Google's translation function...
However, they still couldn't understand its meaning.
お昼にさしかかり、お昼は軽いものでということで
島京梵天さんに寄りました。
Around lunchtime, since they wanted something light, we stopped by TokyoBonten.
初めてのたい焼きにご満足いただけました😇
I was glad that they enjoyed their first taiyaki.
午後は、裏砂漠へ〜！
We headed to the Ura Sabaku Desert in the afternoon.
他に誰もいない黒い山をお二人が登っていくのも絵になりますね✨
It makes a picturesque scene,
the two of them climbing the black mountain with no one else around.
櫛形山の山頂に到着です！
We've reached the summit of Mt. Kushigata!
昨日登った三原山が目の前に！
Mt. Mihara, which we climbed yesterday, was right in front of us!
最後に泉津の切り通しに寄って港までお送りしました。
Finally, we stopped by the Senzu Path Cut and then took them to the port.
島に雰囲気の違う景色たくさんあることに感動されていました！
そして、景色を眺めるだけでなく、説明があったことでより味わいが深まったとの
ご感想をいただきました😌✨
They were impressed by the many different landscapes on the island!
Additionally, they mentioned that not only the view but also the explanations provided enhanced their appreciation.
2日間、大島のご案内をさせていただき、ありがとうございました。
