2008年1月14日、エナンさんは、AOの1ラウンドで中村さんと対戦しました。もちろん、エナンさんの勝ち☆。もし伊達さんが相手だったら(妄想)、、うーん、やっぱりエナンファンとしては、エナンさんに勝ってもらいたいけど、、伊達さんがどう戦うのか見てみたかったなぁー。

私も歳を重ねて思います。前は、結果が重要だと思いました。でも最近、別の見方もあるんだなーとしみじみ思います。負け続けても、続ける選手を見て「なぜ続けるんだろ？」と思った頃もありました。。でも、「勝つ」だけじゃないって、今は思います。もちろん、スポーツは厳しい世界なので、勝てないと注目されません。。でも、もう少し先に、自分との戦い、充実感、チャレンジ…など、素敵なことがあるのだと思います！
I'm getting older. So I can say that now. Before now, I thought the result was important., but now, I thought we have many viewpoints. When I watched the player who kept losing, I have thought "Why do you keep?"... But I think now, "victory" isn't everything. まぁ、綺麗な言葉を書きましたが(笑)、最終的には「やる気」ですよね。体力以上に「メンタル」や「考え方」で、自分を動かせるんだと、本当に思います。「やる気」があったら、楽しく感じるし、ポジティブにもなります。多分、エナンさんもその気になったら、まだまだ女王へ行けるでしょうね(ファントーク)。でも、私は、女王よりー…、楽しんで笑ってテニスする姿を見たいですね。
