　東京都知事選（９日投開票）へラストスパートを仕掛ける細川護熙元首相（７６）が５日、都内で日刊スポーツのインタビューに応じた。連日、ともに街頭演説に立つ小泉純一郎元首相（７２）と選挙後も生涯懸けて「脱原発タッグ」を継続することを宣言した。また、宇都宮健児氏（６７）との脱原発候補一本化の申し入れがあった有識者団体に「それはない。今日、断りを出した」と明かした。

　細川氏は一本化提案をこの日、断ったことをインタビューの最後に明かした。

　「あちらは雇用、福祉と並列で原発問題を挙げているが、私は他の問題より上位。残念ながら難しい」

　「脱原発」を必ず成し遂げる意志を前面に出した。細川氏の頭にパートナーは小泉氏しかいない。「小泉さんとは『ずっとやっていこう』と言ってきた」と一生涯を懸け、２人で「脱原発」を訴える覚悟だ。まずは都知事選で、安倍政権が推し進める原発再稼働を止める一石を投じたい。

　「国はこのまま再稼働するでしょう。急がないといけない。だから選挙の結果が肝心なんです。勝てばもちろん、国もひるむ。勝てないにしても、多くの票を取れば国政に影響する。脱原発は選挙で終わる話ではないんです」

　当選した場合、「細川氏が公約に掲げる『東京エネルギー戦略会議』に小泉氏を参画させるか」との問いには「彼がやってくれるなら、面白い」との考えを示した。

　２人を結ぶのは「直感」だ。「政策の話なんてしてこなかった」と盟友だったわけでもない。今回の選挙戦の移動中、小泉氏に特定秘密保護法について話を振ったが「夫婦でも秘密はあるんですよ」と流されたという。一方で細川氏が首相当時「太平洋戦争は侵略戦争だ」と断じたとき「小泉さんは『それでいい』と言ってきた」という。

　「私は直感で今回、立った。すると小泉さんも全く同じ感性だった。直感が一致した。２人とも細かいことは言わないんです」

　「ダブル首相」の影響力は国政にも及ぶのか―。小泉氏とは原発以外の意見交換は「ない」という細川氏だが、安倍政権について「ほとんど賛成するところがない」とほえた。

　「特に人事。ＮＨＫを始めとして、極めてお友達というか、偏った人事だな。誰が見てもおかしい」

　さらに「年初から株価が大幅に下がっている。アベノミクスの限界」と斬った。出馬会見などで「脱経済成長至上主義」と言った細川氏だが「（本意は）ちょっと違う」と否定した。

　「『脱成長』と言ったら、みんながしょんぼりしてしまう。自然エネルギーで成長すべきだ。それが日本の切り札だ」

　一方で「新党構想」については「考えていない。若い人がやるべき」と否定した。インターネットでの選挙活動は８日午後１１時５９分まで可能で「ぎりぎりまでやりますよ」。苦手なネット選挙でも、殿はがむしゃらだ。【三須一紀、中山知子】
