２０１８年７月１４日（Sat.） ある会合でバイオマス発電に関する情報を耳にすることができました。 日本国内でもバイオマス方式による小規模発電プラントは９０ヶ所ぐらいが稼働に入っているとのことですが、世界的な視野としては、日本は、とても進んでいるとは言い難いようです。 未だに、原発をベースロード電源の一つに位置づけるなどと言う経産省（安倍政権）の考えでは、再生可能エネルギーや持続可能な社会への取り組みは後塵を拝すことになっているのでしょう。

The Irish Air Corps has appealed to drone owners not to fly their drones in the Bray area as they try and help fight gorse fires in the Bray Head area of Co. Wicklow.
An AW 139 helicopter lifted tonnes of sea water on to the burning hillside in an effort to tackle the huge fire when they noticed a number of drones in the area making the helicopter extremely dangerous to fly in case one of the drones crashed into it.
According to RTE, a number of houses have been evacuated in the area and rail services have been effected in the area, with Iarnród Éireann suspending services between Bray and Greystones because of the blaze.
