西洋かぶれしていた昔、日本の文化や習慣が嫌いだったんですが、
なぜかお正月は来るのが楽しみでした。
思い出すのは、父親が台所でお正月料理を作っていた姿です。
私は側でそのお手伝いをしながら、魚や、鶏のさばき方を覚えま
した。
庭で放し飼いしていた鶏を、一匹朝一番に吊るしておきますが、
私の兄はその姿をみて大人になっても、鶏が食べれなくなってい
ました。
その父親の後ろ姿をなつかしく思いながら、これからがめ煮を作
る準備をしています。
父親が教えてくれた事は、体の中にしみこんでいます。
