「安倍官邸は、９月に首相が“電撃訪朝”し、拉致被害者を連れ帰るというシナリオを描いています。状況によっては、そのまま９月解散、１０月総選挙に突入するつもり。すでに北朝鮮からは、かなりの人数を帰国させるというシグナルも送られてきている。訪朝すれば、内閣支持率がハネ上がるのは間違いない。ところが、アメリカが横ヤリを入れてきた。首相周辺は困惑しています」（政界関係者）
