Flows of direct investment from China into Africa have risen $1.5millon in 1991 to $107millon in 2003,according to the Ministry of Commerce. Almost half of the African countries gettin'increasingly investment,westerner thinks,"If our nations were to intervene so widly it would be decried as colonialism."

The IMF last week estimates that Africa's growth is edging toward 6 % ,it's the highest in 30yrs,pretty much because of Chinese investment and its soaring demand for raw materials as petro.and metals.
One Congo's minister was surprised to see many　Chinese business man in the airport over the past two years.

○ US Aegis come to protect Japan.

U.S.destroyer with the most advanced Aegis missile guidance system arrived at Yokosuka.
The dest.Mustin,9,217-ton vessel also carries SM-3 intercepter missile,can eat out North Korean missiles easily.
Japan has three Aegis vesseles,but haven't intercepter missile.
The U.S.Navy now has Aegis-equiped vessels at Yokoska with most of them highly upgraded to missile defense mission.
Early next month,the U.S.Navy is scheduled to deploy the same class huge 9,516ton Aegis cruiser USS Shiloh at Yokoska.
