２０１７年１月２７日（Fri.） 早くも１月の最終週末を迎えましたね。 ところで、２０１７年の中国での春節（旧正月）は１月２８日で、今日は大晦日に当ります。なので、日本での紅白歌合戦のような催しである”春晩”が、ちょうど今頃開催されている最中でしょう。そして、午前０時（現地時間）頃には、各地で盛大に花火が打ち上げられることでしょう。

Ireland's cold snap is set to continue into the weekend with icy temperatures expected across the country.
アイルランドの一時的な寒さは週末に続き、全国的に凍てつく気温になります。
Met Éireann is predicting the cold weather to bring a bout of mist and fog, with an ongoing risk of thunder also being forecasted.
Saturday will be dry early on with heavy showers developing later in the day, particularly in Atlantic coastal areas.
Temperatures tonight will range between -1 and 2 degrees and will reach as low as -3 degrees on Saturday night.
The umbrellas will need to be at arms length with "rain in all areas" expected on Sunday morning.
Day time temperatures will be between 6 and 9 degrees over the weekend, with highs of 12 degrees in some northern areas.
Due to the freezing temperatures, icy patches are expected so motorists are being advised to take care.

この気温を見ている限りは、たまたまかも知れませんが、日本の中部地方の気温に近いものを感じます。 ちなみに、アイルランドの首都ダブリン（ Dublin ）の気温をしばしば見ていますが、結構、日本の中部地方に近いと思うことが多いです・・・。 北緯５３度付近にも拘らずのことなので、メキシコ湾流の影響が強いのではないでしょうか。
