'Kids Go Free' promotion （'Kids Go Free' プロモーション）
'Kids Go Free' on public transport services covered by the Leap card from July 3 to 16, 2017.
Kids can go free on all public transport services covered by the Leap Card from Monday, July 3 to Sunday, July 16.
Free travel during the period will automatically apply to any holder of a Child Leap Card 4-15 or 16-18 (valid up to the holder’s 19th birthday).

•Dublin Bus scheduled services (excluding Airlink)
•Luas

•Commuter rail services in the 'Short-Hop' zone
•Ashbourne Connect
Bus Éireann services apply where Leap Card validators are available - including in Dublin and surrounding counties (excluding Expressway), as well as services in Cork City, Limerick, Galway and Waterford.
Cards need to be presented to claim the free travel, of course - and should also have at least one cent credit.
The offer comes just a day after the OPW announced that its heritage sites would be free to access to to children under 12 this summer.

The Leap Card announcement was made by Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Shane Ross and Anne Graham, CEO of the National Transport Authority.
“At a time when a lot of people still find themselves under financial pressure, we want to do everything we can to make it easier for families to get out and enjoy all there is on offer throughout the network," Graham said.
“It also gives that extra bit of freedom to the teenagers who can now meet up with their friends in town without breaking the bank and just as important, gets them into the habit of using public transport.”
For those without cards, a limited stock of free Child Leap 4-15 Cards is available at various locations in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.
