「シャーリー、マクレーン」翻訳山川紘矢、亜希子夫妻お会いしました。

山川紘矢亜希子ご夫妻とお会いしました。
「シャーリーマクレーン」はサンフランシスコのヒッピー
時代の幕開けで、日本の精神世界の扉を開けました。

この本の翻訳された山川夫妻に憧れていた時期があり、
西念寺の井手さんから山川夫妻を紹介されて、山川夫妻に
今すぐ電話をしなさいと、電話番号を頂いたのですが、
私なんかが電話しても、、、


お二人揃って東大出で、精神世界の本の翻訳家としてだけで
なく、神霊的なお話などにも通じていられるので、躊躇して
いましたら、山川さんから私に直接お電話がありました。

1回目にお電話いただいた時には、青梅に行く前で忙しく
していて、お会いするチャンスを逃しました。

2ヶ月余りの夏の旅から帰宅したら、直ぐに山川夫妻から
お会いしてお話しをお聞きしたいという、お電話があり

ました。

ボディワークでしたら自信があるのですが、もともと人の前
で喋るのは得意でないので。
エエッ！この私に何を聞きたいのかな？ピンと来なかったん

ですが。

井手さんにお電話したら、「倉富さんは、ドーンとしているから
そのまんまでいいよ〜」と言われていましたので、鶴川の図書館の
カフェでお会いする日が楽しみになりました。


お話しの下準備もして行きましたが、お約束の日に図書館のカフェに
時間通りに行きましたら、山川夫妻がやさしい笑顔で迎えて下さり、
私は緊張が解けテーブルに着くなり、山川夫妻とはじめて会った気が
しなくて、ペラペラと喋り出す自分に呆れてしまう次第でした。

「何が起きてもそれを愛する」そのまんまのお人柄の山川ご夫妻。

山川夫妻は「とても良いお話しと、最新情報ありがとう」というお礼
を仰ってくださいました。
亜希子さんが「縄文ストレッチ体験やりたい〜です」と言われたので、
縄文ミニワークを9月24日に行うお約束致しました。


山川夫妻にブログに書いても良いというお許し頂きました。

I met Mr. and Mrs. Hiroya and Akiko Yamakawa.
"Shirley MacLaine" was a harbinger of the hippie era in 

San Francisco, opening the doors to the spiritual world 

of Japan.


There was a time when I admired the Yamakawa couple 

who translated this book. Mr. Ide from the Nishinian 

temple introduced me to them, and I was sent their phone 

number and told to call them immediately. However, 

I thought, "Why would they want to talk to someone like me?"


Both of them graduated from the University of Tokyo. 

They are not only translators of spiritual books but are also 

well-versed in paranormal topics. I hesitated to call, but 

then Mr. Yamakawa took the initiative to call me directly.


The first time they called, I was busy preparing for a trip to 

Ome and missed the chance to meet them, which in a way, 

was a relief.


However, after returning from my summer journey of just 

over two months, I received another call from the Yamakawa 

couple, expressing their desire to meet and talk with me.


I'm confident when it comes to bodywork, but I'm naturally 

not good at speaking in front of people. I thought, "What on 

earth do they want to know from me?" When I called Mr. Ide, 

he told me, "Mrs. Kuratomi, just be yourself, that will be fine.

" Looking forward to our meet, we decided to see each other 

at the library cafe in Tsurukawa.


I prepared for our discussion and went to the library cafe at 

the promised time. The Yamakawa couple welcomed me with 

gentle smiles. Meeting them, it felt as if it wasn't our first 

encounter. My nervousness melted away and I found myself 

talking non-stop, much to my own surprise.


The Yamakawa couple thanked me, saying, "Thank you for the 

wonderful stories and latest information." Akiko mentioned,

 "I'd love to experience the Jomon Stretch!" Thus, we made a 

promise to hold a mini Jomon workshop on September 24th.


The Yamakawa couple gave me permission to write about our 

meeting on my blog.
